Cup success determines late game bankruptcy
Look I absolutely love this game, but the costs of moving from L2 to champ are absolutely only determined how ‘lucky’ and how well your team does in the cup competitions and how many times you draw ‘away’ to big opponents for ticket sales. I’m now on my 5th attempt to get to the prem league and it’s absolutely impossible to survive the massive jump in contracts and transfer fees unless if you are able to make good money from away game ticket sales in cup games. The home ground fans are completely inconsistent and I do 30% off season tickets every single season and make sure my stadium is at the right capacity to sustain the amount of average attendance for whatever league I’m in. Injuries also are insanely ramped up compared to chairman 1, over several games having 2-4 players out with 5+ month injuries is just completely unrealistic EVERY single season. I find it absolutely impossible to fund youth academy while also having a competitive training grounds every season. I honestly believe that chairman 2 is way over the top unfair to the player without ‘luck’ from away games in cup competitions to higher league sides. I was really hoping for more but I truely believe the developers have made this game too hard to beat without in app purchases of funding. Players transfers are an absolute joke, your lucky to even get 2-3 options of free transfers especially when your club is struggling after relegation and the system when if your relegated or just lose in playoffs all of your best players will completely refuse an option to extend the contact is just ridiculous, especially club legends or maxed out contract players. I might just go back to chairman 1 because it seemed the only way for you to go bankrupt is if your being stupid and buying way too many players and having everyone on max-semi max contacts. Here, injuries can make a predicted 10th and higher season go to relegation and eventual bankruptcy. Also the coach ‘play style’ system just ain’t it, it makes absolutely no difference to the game itself other than create more problems than adding more game enhancing features. Maybe I’m just having absolutely bad luck but this is my 5th attempt of going from bottom to L1/champ by 2055 and absolutely struggling to stay afloat once injuries start making easily survivable seasons turn out to be dooming relegation and somehow everytime I draw a champ/prem team in a cup it’s always a home game… fix the injuries, get rid of the players absolutely rejecting your tea
