It's your job to rent out a haunted house before your tyrannical boss has you fired!
It's an interactive novel where your choices control the story. For example, when your tenants, who haven't slept in days due to bone-chilling whispers emanating from the walls, ask to break their lease, do you:
A) Let them transfer their lease to another property?
B) Allow them to break the lease, but keep their security deposit?
C) Insist on sticking to the terms of the lease?
D) Boldly investigate, like all the victims in bad horror films?
How will you screw over your tenants? Will you ignore inconvenient supernatural phenomena, or use them to drum up publicity? How will you deal with ghost hunters, squatters, and celebrity tenants? Will you emerge as the top agent? Stage an office coup? Or will you become a permanent resident of 57 Crowther Terrace?
(This game used to be called "Eerie Estate Agent," before we changed the name.

There's nothing wrong with the game itself, but there's nothing that stands out either. Perhaps it's the setting or plot, but the story just didn't hook me.
I wouldn't use this game as the barometer for the quality of this developer's other games. If you'd like to try a good, free game from this developer, try Choice of the Dragon or Choice of Broadsides instead.
Good
For a free game it's really good.
Good game
Its a pretty good game :)
I think the length was good for a free/low-price game, there's a couple cool different endings that i saw.
4.5/5 stars
Eh...
The setting was already not much of my cup of tea, but the more I played and tried to get invested, the less the game gave me a reason to. Want to play game where your choices feel pointless or mostly negative outcomes? This is the game for you.
WORTHLESS
Choice of Games are normally great, but NOT THIS ONE! Writing is decent, but choices rarely vary or matter. Cantankerous, monotonous, and depressing. NOT WORTH PAYING FOR!!!!
Surprisingly Good
I didn't think I would like it but it turned out to be more interesting than I expected it to be.
okay
this game was pretty fun to play. interesting, unique concept and a few funny moments. but it is not worth $5. it's a very short game and it doesn't go very in depth in regards to the characters. you can't even become friends with anyone. i wouldn't nitpick over this if it weren't for the fact that the ad free version of this game is so high in price. there are much better, more involved choice of game games for $2-$4 and i feel like the $5 price on this game makes it deserving of higher expectations. that said, if you don't mind the occasional ad and the ad banner at the bottom of your screen, it's a fun little game to play through:)
Hauntingly Good
I don't know why some people have said that this story is so lame. I have played many CoG games and this is absolutely one of the best. The story is endlessly entertaining. The best part: it's totally free. You can buy the upgrade to eliminate the ads and lose the wait time between games, but you don't need to. The ads are mostly small banners on the bottom of the screen that I barely noticed and it's only a 20 minute wait between games. I highly recommend this game to everyone. You will love it!
These kinds of stories are great.
I've done a few of these now and I'm really enjoying them! This particular one had an unusual answer to what was wrong with the house. I didn't like the forced choices however. You are made to play as a fearful employee, and as a total skeptic of ghosts. You aren't given many chances to care about anyone but yourself really.
Cute story
Fun story to play, if you take it on its own terms and don't try to think too hard about it.
Certainly better than many of the latest offerings from Choice of Games, which for some reason are heavily laden with asinine metaphors about transsexuality.
