This looks like Dead Cells with Diablo loot system in it.. And pixel art is nice. With IPad pro 11” and controller games runs nice, plays Well and looks great. You buy game once, after that no more micropaymend or waitng energy to fill up. 5/5
OK
The game is overall very well made and has a fun combat system and well thought out level design. The problem in the game is the repetitiveness. The game uses the same enemies in the same ways in very similar areas throughout each area, which can last for quite a while.
Another issue with the game is the story, the story is very hard to follow, and even if you try to follow it, it is very uninteresting. The game is also very short, other than quests, the game lasts for 2-3 hours, which doesn't seem like enough gameplay for the cost of the game. I will praise the game for not having any ads or in-app purchases.
Overall the game is fine, but nothing special.
Bugs 😐
The game has some bugs, it doesn't let me confirm improvements, they should fix that, but the game is good...
What a console game
I never play games with touch and this game supports gamepad which is suits me well.
It is iOS exclusive by the way that makes it more valuable.
Good story and characters.
Meh
So it’s been 2 years since this dropped… no clue why the developers have decided not to have any post-release updates, especially with the number of devices that the AppStore caters to, there’s bound to be some issues with every game that is released… It just seems incredibly short sighted to sit there and say “our game is 100% perfect at launch, no updates needed” when you decide to port your game over to the iOS.
It’s a shame too, because premium titles are really taking off right now… and this could have been a great addition to the onslaught of titles that are high quality, worthy of a higher than normal price tag, wholly premium games that have come out over the last few years and look like they will be coming out even more frequently going forward (which means it’ll be even harder to gain a foothold).
Original write up::;::
As lots of others have said, the controls. If we could make them larger, it would definitely help a ton. Some optimization would help too…. Or graphical settings…. Something to stop my iPhone 12 from turning into a heat rock after playing for 5 minutes. I don’t even want to know the damage it’s doing to my battery. 😕 But as it is now, with the small and finicky controls and my phone overheating after a few minutes of play, I’m pretty upset I threw my money at something I’m deleting without playing past the beginning of the game.

This A Good Game But it Need more updates 😉
Great Dead Cells inspired game.
I use a PS5 gamepad when playing this. I can’t imagine playing w/out a controller (I’m don’t use touch controls for any game.)
My only criticism is that there are some long jumps that are hard to pull off because I jumped 1mm too soon.
The controls…
Please fix the controls. At least allow us to make the buttons bigger. That alone would make a huge difference.
Excited for v1.1 (and onwards)
TL/DR; Buy it. Absolutely worth the price of admission, and if it gets continued support it has the potential to be one of the great action platformers out there.
The game is a mashup of Metroid/Vania, Flashback, Dead Cells and a pinch of masocore corpse running. The graphics are superb, and yes, it requi… benefits greatly from a controller.
Note: The game pop up tells you it relies on ‘LB’ for context actions — this is actually RB, the right button, or R1 on a PlayStation controller.
Gunplay and maneuvering are both exceptionally smooth; running, jumping, climbing, double jumping, are all elegant and responsive.
Melee needs some time invested into it; everything feels just slightly off, as though the controller is lagging, and enemy responses are fairly non existent. It would benefit greatly from a proper light/heavy combo system, better enemy melee AI, a parry mechanic, and so on.
Gear rarity runs the usual color spectrum, and with 5 gear slots and (in the early game) 2 functions per piece of gear, there are plenty of build options. Leveling is straight forward and there are only two currencies; Gold and Xp, which is perfect for this kind of design. The unlockable levels pose some significant challenge and the reward for completing them is brilliant.
I love this game. It needs work, and I’m exceedingly hopeful that it gets the community support it needs to eventually hit v2.0.
Beautiful game, bad controls
Controls are so small, I constantly find myself frantically tapping the control area trying to hit the right skill button - which happens to be almost microscopic - and take huge damage or miss a ledge because my finger is off by a few pixels.
Please add the ability to increase button size in the options menu.
