This review is based on the Gloomhaven jaws of the lion narration. The UI is really easy to use and the narration overall gives the board gaming a lot more depth. The biggest problem was that when you don't have a bluetooth speaker, the sound is so muffled (I have an iphone 13) that most of the narration gets so muffled you can't make much out of it. A chromecast or airplay feature is a must I think, I'm suprised that the support is still missing. Then there are occasional bugs, like when you open the app, it just freezes or is really, really slow. As stated before, great design, awesome idea, but poorly executed. Hoping for the updates, I think these are still problems that could be fixed in upcoming versions, hopefully soon.

Production quality and actors are fine (based on the Frosthaven narration). The app quality and featureset on the other hand are disappointing for a three year old app: UI bugs, lack of chromecast support and general slowness makes using the app much less appealing
