Motion alert hopeless
The app connects to my cameras ok and will show me live pictures. However when I try to switch on motion alerts I get a nonsensical message which says the app can’t connect to my cameras and that I should make sure they are connected to the same network. Go figure!!
Happy it works
I have 4 different Foscam cameras. Some. Ever and 2 older models.
Although this app is a little limited on features, such as ability to adjust light / dark etc or change other camera functionality within the app, all cameras are viewable via home network or over 4g outside the home. It really does work. I know a lot of people have trouble setting up cameras for home surveillance, and I wish I could help others with my years of experience.
Things to remember with most Foscam cameras are: select an unused port and up address for each camera. Not all camera can be auto detected. In router setup you don’t have to manually open ports . What the udp funtion in the setup does is automatically open the Ports of the camera/s
If you have manually done the router port forwarding you do not need to use UDP in the Foscam setup.
If you want to connect outside your home network, check if home network (NBN) Australia (ADSL) etc has a fixed or changing IP address.
If it changes when router is rebooted, you can use something like ‘NOIP.COM’ to monitor and up change. Check their website for details. Lastly, if you have more than 1 camera, be sure each has correct power supply and antenna fitted and mainly if using wifi be sure cameras are within range of the router they are connected to. -Scott M-
Great app has been getting worse, now junk :(
This app was such a great find, replacing the awful Foscam manufacturer app, however there have been many updates lately and the app get worse every time. Now it doesn’t even work half the time (funnily enough the Foscam app now seems much better than it was).
When will developers learn that less is more. A minimal app that is ultra fast, straightforward, and reliable is always better than something that just keeps getting more bloated, unreliable, and slower to use. I guess developers are thinking of themselves and need to keep busy with something.

Great App better than a lot of the paid ones
Awesome app
Very easy to use and I hope you guys will keep this app updated/supported in the near future for future iOS releases and iPhones unlike some dodgy foscam app developers!!
Excellent App, Excellent Customer service
Their app is easy to set up and use, and their customer service is 5-star too. Thanks!
Better than the foscam ap
Works well 90% of the time. Very handy
Amazingly Simple
Automatically sets up external access as well
The best App
Best foscam app
I have two different foscam cams and I use the foscam pro app and paid 6.99 AUD, have to manually key in all the details and it constantly doesn't connect. This app is just fantastic, finds the cabs automatically and set up is a breeze, where have you been all this time ha ha, if you got a foscam download this app 100% satisfied
