FOX 5 Storm Team Weather Radar

Just did the 11/24 update. It made the app worse. Not sure what bug fixes you meant but please correct the app from switching screens when scrolling. I scroll to see the hourly on the home screen and it switches over to the hourly screen. I didn’t want it to do that. I scroll down, and when the screen stops it automatically jumps to a different screen. Sometimes it’s the hourly and sometimes it’s daily. Those options weren’t selected.

Since the last major update, this app thinks it knows better than I, what view I want to see. It automatically switches to daily view. If I want a daily view I will choose it myself. I don’t want an app the dictates which view I see. Looking for an alternative to Fox5 weather as they can’t seem to figure this out

I have a paid weather app that I loved until I found the local fox5 app to be more accurate with an easier to use interface, and was using this app almost exclusively, even when traveling (works great even in other cities and countries). However a recent update made the app unusable, where you cannot scroll or touch the app anywhere without it immediately selecting as if you tapped rather than scrolling. Went from one of the cleanest and simple to use app to an absolute headache to open for even the simplest check of current weather. Hope they roll back the most recent changes and fix the bug that was introduced!

I have been using this app for some time and have been very pleased until one of the more recent updates. The app now is to touchy where you can’t scroll through the hour by hour feature without it opening up that section that you didn’t want to open. Please go back to old settings.

I can’t scroll thru the Hourly mini-menu on the Home tab without it glitching out and straight-up taking me to the Hourly tab!

Recently the Radar Play function, which had the options of Past, Past/Future, and Future, became locked in “Future,” which is grayed out, meaning Users can no longer alter this function. This effectively makes the Radar screen unusable for me. Given that I live in the American South, and that yet another hurricane is imminent, promising still MORE flooding, if you want me to use your app, see your ads, etc., I urge you to correct this bug immediately. Until then, I’ll be using Brand X (an Atlanta-based competitor). Thanks in advance, RL, 10/1/24. EDITED TO ADD: Guys, I found where I had locked Radar to Future Only in Settings, and fixed. (It hadn’t occurred to me that I COULD.) So, errythang cool—never mind!

Best app if you want to know when exactly it’ll rain with the radar that can predict four hours u to the future.

This is probably the second most used app for me after Google Maps. I wish the features of this app could be made available inside Google Maps.

I’ve tried several apps. This is the best I’ve seen. Well organized.

The radar on this app never coincides with what’s actually happening….as I’m writing it’s showing I’m in the clear of incoming storms for hours but it’s literally thunder-storming outside. It does this all the time, I can not depend on this app at all. Love the channel meteorologists but this app is useless if you depend on radar.
