Bug from the very beginning

I was excited to see the mobile app, because my best place to learn is on the phone on the train. It’s very discouraging to not be able to finish the first lesson without “hint you appear to be using a browser extension that is modifying the page.” I have turned off all extensions, including popup blocking and still have this error.

Cannot use

It keeps showing a hint, says 'You appear to be using a browser extension that is modifying the page. Be sure to turn off all browser extensions.' but i am not using any browser extension

Why is the app like this ?

Through all the videos you guys upload, you clearly have the skill to make a great looking application this looks like someone just threw it to the wall hoping it would stick.. there’s a ton of information between courses and it’s just one big waterfall of information! If it’s not already make it open source so people can help

Great app to learn

I have no background in IT/programming… I was learning using Mimo app. Here’s my comparison. Pros: Mimo doesn’t provide background information, this app does. Using this app, feels like I’m actually writing/learning coding whereas, Mimo feels like a game. This app doesn’t have heart games so, you can learn without hiccups/losing time. In Mimo, after you make 5 mistakes, you have to wait 3 hours before you can learn again unless you buy subscription. Cons: After two mistakes, Mimo shows you the correct code, this app doesn’t. For a newbie like me, it’s really difficult to find what I did wrong and stops me from moving ahead. There should be a button that shows correct code if not right away at least after 2-3 attempts.

Crashes A lot

I’ve been considering using the app instead of the browser on my iPad. Sadly most of the time when I’m trying to move on to the next step, the app crashes as soon as i click the check box to enter my code. I had high hopes for the app but it’s looking like I’ll just remain in my web browser for now.

I’d already starting using their website and wanted to continue with them, but when I open it only gives me a white screen, even downloaded twice.

Why so many bad reviews?!

I started using this on the desktop version and was so happy to see there’s an app too! I’ve been wanting to learn to code for a while and I’m so grateful that this app is free and so accessible. Download it right now!

two clients of this platform (web browser & ipados) are unusable

I'm trying to pursue my courses on Safari/Edge/Chrome; they are very hit & miss on whether or not the page will completely load for you to submit your entries. So I download this app, first the course I was attempting wasnt available and I was recommended to use the web version, and when I tried to attempt something that is offered on this app (the first css project), the app insta crashed on the very first submission. So im just like, wwhaaaaat ever. Very helpful organization, ive had nothing but stellar experiences so far on desktop, but the 1 star review is warranted in my experience for this iPad app as of 4/12/24.
