French Dictionary & Thesaurus

Eu gosto muito desse aplicativo, pois aparece, na maioria das palavras, a maneira correta de se falar. Porém, um ponto negativo é a falta de fluidez do aplicativo ao procurar uma palavra. Parece que fica carregando e demora um pouco.

This is a good go to app if you are looking for words you don’t know. It has good explanations on different meanings and different uses. It also has verb conjugations which I find very helpful. But the biggest short coming of this app is that many frequently used verbs are not in this dictionary. For example: s’assoir (to sit down) is not here. Pretty much every day I encounter a verb I could not find here. So to improve this app, please have the complete set of frequently used verbs added to this app.

For someone who is learning French or who need to improve his French, I absolutely recommend this Dictionary!!

Often when I look up a word, it is part of a phrase, which changes the meaning. This gives you all uses of the word and phrases. Super helpful.

Both on examples in French and English; also the pronunciation (the toughest part in learning French. But the soft keyboard mapping is weird.

It does not have simple words like was, am, is, to, be.This dictionary may be helpful to someone who already knows the words, but for someone who is new to French I do not see it’s value at all.

Great app! It has everything needed including English translations for the words and conjugation charts for verbs! The translations are simple and easy to understand too! Plus the app is free, which is really amazing considering all the useful things you can find in the app!

Much better than I thought when I got the app, so helpful to understand a word.

Thanks, best French dictionary app out there. Reminds me of the Petite Robert .

As the title says. I got this for free and yet i find every word i look for and find less than half in the robert-collins i spent $14 on. Save your money and get this one
