It works fine but the app keeps going black and not loading the distance touch.. which defeats the purpose
App is very difficult to use. Kicked me out multiple times and needed to set up my account multiple times as well.
Stop
It leaves a lot to be desired. I should be able to manage everything in-app without being sent to a website. But mainly, I’d like to be able to send a QR code to my friend to join a lamp group without having to use email.
Cute idea if it worked well. The touch is on and off working. Need to constantly trouble shoot. Lamp could be smaller, like half size and better quality.
I come from the mobile app industry and consider myself pretty tech-savvy. My wife purchased this product as a way for our family, spread across different locations, to quickly ping each other and share moments of connection. However, setting up this product has been an absolute nightmare. Despite my technical background, I’ve struggled through the setup of the first two units and have now completely given up on the third out of five. The mobile app’s user interface is clunky and unintuitive. APIs fail to connect properly, and on three different phones, I encountered a blank white screen that required me to reboot the app repeatedly. On top of that, the product doesn’t even let you proceed without agreeing to a subscription. Thankfully, there’s a one-month subscription option. I nearly opted for the annual plan upfront but decided to try the monthly trial first. I’m so glad I did because all three subscriptions I’ve activated so far will be canceled. The setup process is simply not worth the frustration. Charging $3 per month or $25 per year for each individual lamp feels like an outrageous cash grab. After finally understanding the product’s core functionality, it’s clear that a single subscription should cover multiple households, not force every user into their own payment plan. Our original intention was to cover the cost of lamps for our entire family. While the per-lamp subscription fee was already off-putting, I was willing to give it a try since we’d invested in the hardware. But after nearly three hours of setup and only two of the five units functioning, I’ve hit my limit. This product had potential, but the execution—especially the setup process and subscription model—has made it a deeply disappointing experience.
Trying to set up was disappointing when reality set that you need a subscription to use. It was expensive and now it didn’t work without paying even more.
Spent hours trying to set the lamp up the lamp to my iPhone app. Could not connect. It was a gift and now I need to find the process to send it back.
I have had nothing but trouble since the app “improved”. I have troubleshot it but no luck. Sometimes when I open my app, the screen is black. Sometimes it opens but when I click on remote touch, the next screen is black so it’s unusable. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded. I’ve shut off my phone and restarted. I’ve made sure my phone is running on the most recent update. I’ll open and close multiple times and then it will work but not the next time. Frustrated customer!
