Need to reconnect constantly
Not sure why but need to reconnect every week or so. Wifi is steady as is power. Must be the unit or the app. Also only works when I use the old app.

Worse than previous versions
Completely useless unresponsive app. Can’t even log in with a 5+ year existing account nor create a new one. Another in a long line of bogus apps from Frigidaire.
Not as easy to set up as quick start guide makes it out to be
Finally got the unit connected to our Wi-Fi and working with the app. Tech people were some help, but still had to do a lot of trial and error. Had to use older version app. All in all, not as easy as the Quickstart guide makes it out to be, but works fine once everything is connected.
This App does not work well
This Frígidaire app needs work. To be such a big corporation, it surprises me that this app never worked well and now they update the app and it does not work on the ac I have and I had to downgrade the app again to the old one Not good
Works half the time.
I have had my AC unit for a couple weeks now. The app only seems to work when it want to, which is almost never. I open the app and all I get is the Frigidaire logo with an orange screen and that is it. Like it’s stuck trying to load or something. I just use the remote that came with the AC unit instead. Would be nice to program it through my phone for convenience.

Has been working well so far. Tedious but straight forward to connect ac window unit.
The original app
I downloaded the new Frigidaire app and it didn’t work for me the original app, the red one is the one for me 👍
Does not work
Software was updated and no longer am I able to control my Frigidaire appliances. Support is unhelpful too
cooling
does not cool a 500 sq ft room . I have found with portable air conditioning units if your room size is 250 ft.² by a air conditioner that can cool double that.
