Description
The FRITZ!App WLAN offers a clear overview of all access points in the home network and notifies about available FRITZ!OS updates for your FRITZ! devices. The FRITZ!App WLAN makes it possible recognize whether your iOS device is connected with the FRITZ!Box via a FRITZ!WLAN Repeater or a FRITZ!Powerline adapter.
Use the "Measure WiFi" function to evaluate the wireless LAN at various locations in your home network and find out where there might be a WiFi coverage hole.
The "My Repeaters > Evaluate Repeater Position" function checks the quality of the connection between your FRITZ!Box and your FRITZ!Repeater. If the connection quality is suboptimal, you will be directed to position your FRITZ!Repeater further from or closer to your FRITZ!Box.
Click "My Repeaters > Configure New Repeater" for instructions on establishing a connection, and on finding the ideal position to improve the configuration of your home network.
Minimum requirement:
- iOS version 14 or newer
- FRITZ!IOS 06.50 or newer

Handig om de Mesh te testen
Geeft in de grafiek heel mooi weer wanneer je overschakelt op een andere repeater en band. De latency icm de linkspeed helpt bij de plaatsing van de repeaters om een goede plek te vinden. Ook handig dat je de rapportage kunt exporteren. Ik mis alleen nog een historie functie, zodat je je uitgeprobeerde setups kunt vergelijken en over tijd mogelijk interferentie bronnen herleiden. Als de verbinding tegenvalt zou je dan even kunnen terugkijke wanneer het beter was en je bedenken wat er sindsdien in huis is veranderd. Zou ook wel tof zijn als de app samenwerkt met de iPhone 15 camera en motion sensoren, zodat je het bereik letterlijk in kaart kan brengen door even rond te lopen. Maargoed, het ook nu een zinvolle app.
Leuke app...maar kloppen de metingen?
Ik heb net een nieuwe Fritz!Box installeerd en volgens het web interface moet ik met mijn iPhone een snelheid van rond 860/1200 Mbit/s hebben. Alleen toont mij deze app heel andere waardes, namelijk alleen 400 Mbit/s - en hetzelfde ook op mijn iPad Pro met een 1600/2100 Mbit verbinding. Dat kan toch niet kloppen? Is dit een fout? Graag zal ik meer info's kunnen zien, zoals of een MIMO/2x2 connectie actief is en wat de signaalsterkte is. Gewoon ook dezelfden info's welke ik in het web panel van de Fritz!box kan zien. Moet ik dan namelijk niet hen en weer gaan om te kijken. Dankje!

Locatie nodig?
Sinds kort vraagt WLAN om de locatie aan te zetten. Alleen lukt me dat niet. Waarom heeft WLAN mijn locatie nodig?
No WiFi speed throughput with Netgear AP
Since a few months the WLAN app does not show the WiFi throughput and is limited to latency only. I’m quite sure that this feature has been working well with previous builds. Fritz!box 7583 with 3* Netgear WAC 510 AP Please fix this bug…

Not possble to login to my fritzbox router via this app. So no way to do any tests
