FROG Water Care

The app is fine if you can get it to recognise the pads. I admit directions state put on white paper but it takes several tries. Once I finish my chemicals I will try something else.

Apparently an update was performed because the Ap was dysfunctional and it doesn’t seem like it took. The dealer network is inaccurate and out of date. Seems like little thought has gone into the Ap, and makes me concerned that underlying science for chlorination is also mystical.

The app seems great for some things. It gets dingged a couple of stars for constantly asking for location- bad UX One improvement would be to have a new to hot tub user section

This app has led to more confusion and frustration than anything with us trying to balance our hot tub. The photo function for water testing gives an error code. I tried to submit a question and the box where you type the words is blacked out. And the font is black. So you can’t actually see what you are typing. The “fix this” function is not helpful either.

Absolutely worthless if you have a hot tub. Drop down menu during set up does not include hot tubs and just try to find the number of gallons your tub holds in any of your literature.

Great tool but “Diagnose a problem “ gives a coding error and taking a snapshot of the strip assigns a check box that doesn’t match the color we see.

Came back to the Frog system after doing other chemicals for many years. The Frog system is greatly improved and their app is fantastic. Their customer service has been phenomenal on the phone when I called I highly recommend this product for people who want to have a easy to take care of water, testing, and treatment for their hot tub.

I’m trying to learn how to manage the levels in my hot tub. The sales people said this app will explain it all. It explains nothing! It is so horrible, when I put in my “first fill date” of Jan 13, 2023, it tells me the next time I need to change my filter is Jan 8, 2023. Pretty sure that is inaccurate! I was really expecting a lot more from this all. Very disappointed.

I’ve seen other people’s complaints about poor security and too much data mining on this app. I tried to sign in using my Apple ID without having my email showing…and it just hangs without allowing me to continue. Epic Fail!

It would be nice to see more sample of things that can go wrong with the water and the fixes needed. Maybe include some pro tips… such as tricks to filling your tub if you have hard water. Even an open forum for discussion. This app is a good start but hopefully it gets expanded. Lot’s of potential.
