Reasons why not 5 star, you dont collect channel points.
I think this app is great when it comes to emotes and customization of chat. Where it lacks is the video should minimize when closing app, since it just stops the video playing. There is a minimize button but this is just qol. Also, would be nice if you could access drops on this app. Lastly, I wish you could change the quality of the stream on the app. Not bad overall!
I can now use emotes other than the global twitch ones. Thank you devs 👍
While Twitch is making their own app worse with every update, Frosty keeps getting better. Absolutely killing it!
Weird bug where you’ll type out an emote, click the emote above your keyboard and the app with autofill with a completely different emote. For example you’ll be typing “feelsbadm-“ click the emote and the app with autofill with CheeseTime or something completely random. Not a huge issue but annoying when trying to keep up with chat. On top of the app being at least 2-5 full seconds behind then stream.
I noticed the video ui is just twitch now and not frosty so I can only guess something broke.
This app is by far 10 times better than the Twitch app. Thank you for whoever created this app
Needs bug fixes, while watching on panoramic view on ipad it starts lagging, send it button stops working and I'm unable to use unless I restart the app.
Good clean interface that you can actually get around, unlike the official Twitch app. Compared to the official app, this one is more stable, faster, and much easier to use. It even has a button to reload the stream available at all times, which is great given how tenuous the data links from Twitch’s servers always are. Also this app is a reasonable size: occupying only about 1/5 the storage size of the official app. All it’s missing is notifications, but I guess I can just keep the official Twitch app on my phone for those and actually never open it.
