Do not go near this app. Always crashing. I have emailed for support and NO RESPONSE….on top of that the app requires payment for renewals and when you pay weeks later it asks for another renewal payment! I’m getting a whole new system, one that is reliable and has support!!
I’m speechless that Apple don’t just delete more of this garbage
Was ok when free, worked every time, now that I’ve paid, it only works when on the home wifi- so what’s the point? I wanted to view cameras from anywhere in the world like I could previously? No technical support whatsoever Disappointed and feel really ripped off!
The app could be a lot better It often crashes and will not work at all It has not worked for the past 24 hours Update 3 days later and the app still will not work It is disappointing as it worked well for the first year or so and then when I paid to continue using it I started having problems
I’ve paid a subscription to this horrible app. Yet I can’t contact anyone to fix my issues. It used to work well now it only works sometimes. Less than more. I have to keep deleting the app and reinstalling and even then it will only work for a few minutes. What the hell did I pay for????
No play back functionality when using iPhone 11 & iPad Pro. On older iPhone app has to be closed fully & reopened to go back into cameras. Very poor overall, would not recommend but is the only app that you can use with Doss CCTV
Cannot make a direct connection to CCTV cameras anymore by specifying the port forward on your own gateway without the app relaying to a hard coded IP address list. Rented cloud servers in various countries are tried one by one until a peer connection is established despite a port forward specified in the devices’ network connection parameters. These Chinese made cameras constantly try connecting to a hard coded IP list in the firmware via UDP 8300. They can do this without any access to DNS. If your block this port TCP 8888 is used. The TCP port 8888 address list is as follows: 66.117.0.0/20 45.119.203.0/24 103.200.209.0/24 151.106.6.71/29 145.239.4.0/22 45.125.193.0/24 94.177.163.0/24 151.106.6.0/24 The TCP 8300 connection attempts are as follows: 119.29.237.152 119.29.150.123 The camera UDP 8300 firmware hard coded IP’s are as follows: 103.200.209.198 118.25.58.143 119.29.150.123 129.204.148.38 134.119.189.134 145.239.5.96 151.106.6.174 162.62.14.149 173.247.235.162 212.237.61.187 213.128.71.28 35.177.138.28 45.119.203.130 45.125.193.26 45.125.193.66 51.68.181.110 61.164.242.162 61.164.242.180 62.234.138.50 66.117.9.14 92.223.103.68 94.177.163.35 95.141.33.178 All of this happens covertly without the user’s permission. There is no longer any way to connect directly to your cameras using port forwarding using this app without opening up TCP 8888 to allow a man in the middle connection to peer servers.
Very basic app that only really works on phones. The iPad version u need to stretch it 2x to view it and then there is a white bar on the right so doesn’t even fit the whole screen! Changing the view to each camera then requires you to turn the view into HD. There is no way to make HD the default. Wish there was a better app to view my cameras purchased at Radio Parts :(
Could be better. Always seems to cache the image from when it was previously loaded. So be careful when reopening the app and check the time and date on the image.
