Nothing to be found anywhere as to how you might set up your own preset server like the two that are in there, iTunes and SourceMac. I'll eventually figure out what kind of file needs to be served, or what kind of server needs to be running in order for FStream to connect to it and get a listing, but when I do, it will be absolutely NO thanks to the developers or online community around FStream…… I'm pretty sure the only way will be to look into it in regard to OTHER applications and situations, since I absolutely give up on getting the information in the context of FStream!!! Otherwise this app would get at least a 4/5, and a 5/5 if only it had a bit more ability than just "play/record, use the web interface that was developed in about 20 minutes, but otherwise get lost."
Decodes\plays high bitrate OGG VORBIS streams. To my knowledge, the only player for IOS to do so. It does cut out once in a while, but to me it's worth the trade off for the sound quality. Setting the cache to "large" helps. It's not flashy, but it does what I want it to do.
Only ok. Cuts out a lot.
Just needs to support controls from the iOS multitasking bar.
By far the best Internet Radio app in the app store, just get the Stream URL, go to Favourites->Edit (not presets!)->Add New and you're away. This thing plays almost every station URL I've thrown at it.
Still using 3.1.3 since I have a 3gs (would rather have the faster speeds) Went to update the app then it deleted off my phone because I did not have 4.0... Please make it work with both like all the other app out there :/ This was my main source of music :( --Edit-- Found an app that works for 3.1.3 -- "Tune-In Radio" You have to pay for it but it works!
Awesome. Works great. Never had any trouble.
Plays my brother's Ogg stream over 3G with no hassles. Easy to setup, supports background playing. Clean, functional interface.
Very useful,I love the fact that you can add your own Internet radio stations from around the world. The ui needs a little work, it doesn't feel native enough and pls add more features!!!
