The best App of its kind
Been using the product for probably close to a decade and I still use it. Immediate ROI. Best money ive ever spent on a tool for machining hands down. -C H
Unreal good, everything I need and more for a manual lathe and mill with a simple to follow ui.
I have just started to “thumb” through this app., and what I have looked at in detail, gives me confidence in your organization, and it’s people. This is layer out in an orderly fashion. After a bit more use, an upgrade to the pro level will be likely. Thank you all, again.
Bought pro on my Android device, have used it for the last year +. Definitely an amazing starting place for feeds and speeds. I like it cause I’m always dealing with random materials, and the library is quite large. I don’t use anything besides the feeds and speeds, and of all the similar apps I’ve tried, this stands out as getting the feeds right the first time. Switched to IOS and was having an issue getting the pro version downloaded, shot support an email, and within a day I was taken care of. Highly recommended!
I bought the HSMAdvisor program (it’s their full desktop program) and they give you the Pro version of this app for free. They both work great. The desktop program is the best I’ve tried for feeds and speeds and having the Pro version of FSWizard for nice for quick reference. I definitely recommend it
My understanding is that speed is RPM * pi * tool diameter When going from inches to feet, add a / q 12 For 24k rpm, 1/8 inch, tool return 170 feet/min Correct answer is 780 Fusion agrees with the 780 number Please fix
A new feature is center drill depth very nice but .......... center drills come in both 90 and 60 degree included angles. With no reference on the drawing we do not know with which we are dealing. Maybe you can add the nomenclature or note in a upcoming revision. And hint, hint have the feature to compute either in a further revision. Also you might reference the point length and angle. As you know by your advertised ‘tonns’ of experience - it is the little things in machining that are the biggest help! But overall a nice go to app and thank you!
The most useful information in this app are the feed rates associated with the materials in the material library. I wish the GD&T section was more developed but I do appreciate what is available, since it is a free app. Thank you FSWizard!
Best app for machinists, period... use it every single day.
