Fuelly: MPG & Service Tracker

MPG calculation not appearing after 8 fuel ups. I think the only way it might work is if your car is completely empty and you fill it up to the brim. The UI is time-consuming and labour-intensive. Does not recognise my local mechanic, and local petrol station (a large Shell station on a main A road). Impossible to add a reminder for an MOT. Cannot use a combination of MPG, miles and litres. I will persevere for a while, but I’m struggling to see the value.

Quite poor for an app that asks you to subscribe. Very US orientated. Deleted quickly after installing.

I admire the audacity of charging a subscription for an app that doesn't even have proper unit adjustment for areas outside the US. Brits buy petrol (excuse me, gas) in litres but still measure efficiency in mpg. Surely it shouldn't be hard to actually use appropriate unit conversions?

Used this app a few years ago and I can honest say this new version(2024) is rubbish. It’s not intuitive at all. Either I’m being stupid(I’m not!) or it’s really hard to find other users mpg figures for different vehicles. Does it even still do that?! Either way looks like I’m deleting it and finding something else that works better.

Missing Car details. Oc you are going to offer putting in ones car model details then all the details should be there. For me it was missing hybrid model, engine details.

Despite varying unit options this just doesn’t work for areas outside the USA as input forms are not varied with unit changes

This app used to be good , now it’s useless can’t even see past fuel ups so what use is it utter garbage

I bought the predecessor and happily used it, logging over 100,000 miles of records across various vehicles. Then it seemed to get bought out, it was changed for the worse (seemed to ignore non US based users) and then wanted to push me into subscription to enjoy full functionality. I abandoned it and am trying Fuelio now.

Fuelly cannot handle electric as a fuel source. Don’t waste your time with the app or an account if you have an EV or PHEV. It is a shame as the app is great (was my go to app on previous car which was a diesel) for liquid fuel types but it just is not moving with the times.
