G-SHOCK MOVE

As amazing as Casio’s watches are, equally terrible are their mobile apps. A significant vote against buying a gshock for any smart watch features, is this unmitigated mess their mobile strategy represents. Not sure if they lack competent programmers or if they neglect to invest in their mobile apps but either way this is embarrassing.

It would be amazing if we could toggle off certain functions from display cycle: like skip and disable the notifications display, and toggle off the monthly activity display on the time/step counter cycle.

The app knows I’m in the US. Your country is the first thing it asks. But then all the units are shown in metric. Birthdate month/day is swapped. This app should be better.

Watch doesn’t automatically reconnect when stepping away from phone. Have go back into the app to reconnect. Notifications don’t really explain what app it’s from. Text is too small. Have too go through settings to get to notifications.

App freezes and becomes unusable whenever I try to create a new plan. Could also use some updating to make it look a little more modern and run smoother. The app seems like kind of an after thought from Casio.

Need more features and modernization. Especially need an update to change date-month format/order on the gbx-100 models!

Rarely is accurate on sending data to fitness app marks a distance in the watch app and other on the fitness app, software is garbage! No updates when time zone change.

Have had a Casio G-shock hooked up with this app for almost 4 yrs now. Used to have zero issues with multiple watches linked. But over the last year or so, my watch disconnects EVERYDAY! Sometimes multiple times a day. I'm not sure what update that they pushed out for the app, but whatever it is, I constantly have to reconnect my watch. Multiple times I've needed to use the 'find my phone's function only to find out my watch disconnected once again. I know it's not the watch or phone bc I didn't always have these issues. Please fix, this is super annoying!

App will not move past User profile info on iPhone. Watch is connected to phone . App will not move past general user profile information. Amazafit T. rex watch and the Zepp app are so much more user friendly. Looks like I got a watch I can’t use unless I get a new phone . Casio you have lost a life long customer. I do not suggest buying a Casio smart watch unless you download the app and make sure it works with your phone first.
