Honestly, I had to go do some research and look at some reviews just to see if the app was legit. It’s absolutely crazy to me how my information has been pending for over two months now I haven’t received any responses or clearance and the app literally doesn’t work when you try to contact supportor send out an email to chat with somebody I can’t even get into the app

Keeps crashing, may have bugs! All my information is already on this app! Ohh lorddd

This agency has become a joke. Doubles have become ridiculous. They won’t pay you correctly. Never reach anyone by phone. Circles in the emails when trying to solve any problem. Rates are becoming lower than what actual employees are being paid. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Poorly developed
This app and agency are the absolute worse. No doubt, the market team uses this app to discriminate against nurses. I have other nurses screenshot their app and the difference is apparent! Facilities who reach out to you; are restricted from block booking you; the market team controls who they want to schedule. Looking at my app, and the #facilities automatically goes from 65 to 0; displaying no available shifts when I change screens. Nurses are not respected or appreciated, BELIEVE ME!
Troubleshoot? Terrible! They don’t help or fix anything! Don’t waste your time, trust me!
Getting paid is so harassing. You’re clocking in/out via app, paper, facility time clock, and required to take a picture. Same day is whenever they get ready that day!
This agency does not support nurses as they claim; because their goal is to appease to their client only! You are expected to often work outside of your scope, in unsafe work environments, understaffed, expected to not advocate for your patient or yourself, and punished for not risking your license.
We know there are facilities that do not care about safe nursing nor the patients; and these are Gale clients!

Hard time completing application
I have been hearing about everyone signing up with this agency especially as a CNA the process was easy and all, but not for me. At first it was difficult to get the app to upload any images needed for documents like it would have the processing spinning wheel forever and accept them eventually days later after trying over and over again. Now I am at the last part of applying and the background check will not start, I cannot get anyone to answer my messages back on fixing this issue in order to begin picking up shifts. I want to love this app but cannot due to this issue and now been forced to pick up through other agencies. Can someone please reach out to me and help me with this background check issue!?
App is awful, theory is great
I love the idea behind Gale and being paid after each shift. HOWEVER, you cannot depend on it to work consistently (for facilities and employees). For the past month I’ve noticed major problems…. 1. CNAs are notified their shift has been cancelled (when it has NOT been by the facility, and left them short staffed). 2. I cannot see shifts that I KNOW are available (I know because I’m at the facility in need). The app constantly notifies us shifts are available (great) but then when we click on them it says “no longer available” or it just keeps loading. 3. When anyone complains about these problems (facilities and us), we are told to call the IT department. The problem is not on our end, and honestly we shouldn’t have to keep uninstalling or logging out in hopes to fix it. Which by the way, hasn’t fixed it for me! I’m frustrated and ready to use another agency. 4. I used to be able to at least receive block shifts without a problem, now I can’t even do that without headache. And today I get a call from Gale. Left a voicemail saying “you have 2 block shifts, accept or decline. If you can’t see them and would like to accept, call back and I’ll book them for you”. No ma’am. That’s the whole point in this app, we shouldn’t need to do that and I don’t want anyone doing anything on my behalf. We are losing many money opportunities and there’s the constant risk of patients getting less care than they deserve. Not to mention Gale is getting a bad reputation for “not showing up” when that’s far from the truth.
