Pretty fun
I like the concept, but I wish you could port old games to new consoles. Also I had to google how to get a hardware engineer, which was sad the game didn’t tell me how to do it. Overall good game.

Challenging but rewarding
The game is fun and addicting, only thing I’ve noticed so far is that you get a lot of the same applicants and barely any staff to build a new console.
No pay to play elements, fun to play.
The sound track is horrible. The sound effects were never reduced in frequency to adapt to larger company sizes. Eventually, developing a game is just the constant repeat of the “in the zone” sound effect. Makes no sense you can lose fans while you’re in the process of making a game with hype, especially 50+ hype. Especially makes no sense you can be one or two debugs away from release and they leave. Absolutely befuddling. Companies irl don’t lose fans because they’re taking their time making a new game. They especially don’t lose fans in the final few months before a release. Not being able to promote a game pre-launch for a larger opening week seems dumb. I’ve literally won game of the year and still have no clue how to hire a planner, composer, or engineer to make a console. The pricing and options for the game convention are horrible and make no sense. The game genres and themes are just horrible. Console licences are abnormally high and make no sense when you’re a AAA game publisher. You wouldn’t be paying 100 million for a licence for a game that will make 20 million. How is it even possible to lose fans for making the same type of games? Have these brain dead devs heard of EA Sports? Treyarch? Blizzard? Riot? Nintendo?????? They never lose fans for making the exact same type of games, we love them for making the best of the best. Overall, easy to play. Hella addictive. But I only chose it over game dev tycoon because of its portrait mode play. I hate horizontal play games. But genuinely not a great game.
A good fun sim without all the confusion of way too many choices, options or wacky resources. It’s casual play is easy to pick up any time and enjoy. Retro graphics are spot on too!
