Game Dev Tycoon

It was a perfect mix of challenging, entertaining and captivating. It was a risky purchase however 100% worth it because I played for hours on end. Thank you for this masterpiece :)

I loved the game. Clearly seems lot of work went into it. One issue I encountered in my first play was I moved into bigger office and hired one more dev. I researched medium game and started making it and got stuck on the first work assignment screen because it mandatorily ask to assign three devs to the game dev but I only had two at that moment. I could not stop the game dev too. I was stuck and had to start over loosing all the progress. It’s a good game apart from that.

This is the best tycoon I ever played well u know I play roblox tycoons to but who cares doesn’t matters I love this game so much I am hyped bruh!

This game really is good and I’ve enjoyed playing it for hours. Waiting for a new version 🙂

Being a fan of tycoon games, I absolutely loved this games. Hats off to the developers. Though you can continue playing indefinitely, the official ending of the game comes a bit too early. Nevertheless, a brilliant game indeed!

This game lets you manage your own gaming company, that too on mobile! And its a perfect fit for mobile. Polished graphics. Addictive gameplay. Its good for quick bursts as well as long durations of gameplay. No IAPs. No internet connection required. Hardly eats your battery. Wish we had more games this.

I'm an imaginative person and this scratches the itch, allowing me to be goofy with game ideas that float in my head. The overall structure of the game is perfect. I wouldn't change much. But here are my ideas for what to add in a sequel. - Ability to combine topics similar to genres - Acquisitions, i.e. buy Bethesda or Bungie - Sell your company (upload a playthrough and it may randomly be up for sale in another person's game) - (settings option) Randomize what the audience likes in a genre or topic (for more replayability) - research on "current trends" as a way to learn more about audience interests - Game description (optional) but would be hilarious to read another "company's" games (related to sell your company idea above) - A team and B team (twelve members to rep the company) - employees can quit (optional setting) - more tech research - handheld console - streamer idea from the netflix version is great - it'd be interesting if you could see "competition" -- i don't care about online competing, but procedural npc competitors could be fun --Or maybe updates similar to the chirp feature in Cities Skylines. I.e. opt in to get periodic updates on other real player progress (i.e. companies going out of business, good and bad games. Just random goings on of other people's games could be entertaining) - more options for engine components -- ai only having 3 components feel like it could be spread out better. Lastly, a Movie/TV tycoon game in the same style could be fun as well. Thanks for the fun!

I get tired of playing freemium games. This is the best Simulation game in years. I love it on Steam and now the iPhone. If you’re on the fence: buy this game. You won’t regret it. Edit: years later and I still come back to this game. Why haven’t you purchased it already?
