GarageBuy

The concept is good and the need is obvious if you are buying or selling on eBay. The application allows you to get easy access to your watch-list (from "myEbay"), search for (and bid on) new items, and change a few settings. A number of bugs and oversights spoil the pleasure though. The watch-list is not always correctly updated and it is not possible to get an easy overview of your active bids and eBay message inbox. Unless you can live with these shortcomings you may want to wait for the next version of this application.

There're lots of bugs to be worked out: - watch list gets confused - Updates list with mixed results Other Comments would include: - searches are too general.. why not categories? - To be able to See the various Photos on the watch list and not just on the full page version.. - More Preferences! I hope they figure it out.

For some reasons, not so easy to use and not as intuitive as it should be.

I haven't had those errors, but I downloaded after the update and run a G3. Needs results filtering features though because there's too much crap in eBay & I guess I'm an newbie to eBay shopping.

I installed GarageBuy when I saw how well it worked on someone else's iPhone. Hypothetically, it's useful to have if you want to watch your eBay listings, a little complicated if you want to watch your own SELL listings. Unfortunately for me, the first time I installed Garagebuy, I received an error message when I tried to link my eBay account. I uninstalled, then re-installed Garagebuy. It worked once for saving my password, retrieve my listings on eBay but the second time I ran the application, I received the same message: "eBay Error N XML<RequestPassword> or <RequestToken> was found in XML Request". My saved password had never been physically changed, so I don't know why I get this error message. Might work for others, but GarageBuy doesn't work for me.
