Terrible service from Bauer Media

Apis man on

United Kingdom

Once again Bauer Media have failed to properly transition to an upgraded app the service from them is terrible

Doesn’t Work

Manc2015 on

United Kingdom

I have just taken out a physical and digital subscription and the app doesn’t work. It tells me to update the app. It’s the latest version and there is no update. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled and still the same. I’m paying for a service that I can’t use. I’ve messaged and got ZERO response. Waste of Time!

Interesting and reliable

Ancdehhhhh on

United Kingdom

Garden News contains all the information I need to take care of my garden. I love the tips and hints!

Rubbish Customer Support

Furious of Fareham on

United Kingdom

I have been using this app for over 2 years without a problem when suddenly, the Download button failed to appear on 3 issue. Since first reporting the problem, and well over a dozen emails sent to/from Bauer, they have managed to escalate the problem to the point of completely locking me out of the App. It’s like a yo-yo, each time they say they have fixed it & I should be able to get back in, I try and I can’t!! Don’t even bother to raising a formal complaint to Head of Customer Experience! I have, twice, and haven’t had the courtesy of a reply!

I have subscribed to the paper version for a number of years and have recently changed to digital on my iPad and now I have all the great features in one place and can take it with me anywhere in the world,I have recently returned from a holiday in Majorca and was reading it by the pool with a beer, you can't get better than that Highly recommended

Problems sorted out now - review updated

TurtonLad on

United Kingdom

Purchased 6 June 2015 copy and quality of pages particularly text is very poor and difficult to read. You may be better to buy a proper paper printed copy from shop. Very poor I reported this fault to them and they responded that the proofing team made errors and this has been corrected, so must now say all is well with mag and all pages are crystal clear to read Very good, can now recommend

Major flaw!

AndySW8 on

United Kingdom

One major flaw with this app is that instead of remembering where you were in the magazine, it insists on reloading and showing you the ‘front page’ whenever you want to continue reading.

Useless

N1083 on

United Kingdom

I have a subscription, the app does not recognise this even though it accepts my sign in details it continually asks me to purchase editions I have already paid for. The media phone line ppl can't seem to fix it so I have paid for a magazine I can't read! Completely useless. Had to go out and buy the paper edition!
