The best of gardening magazines with superb photography.
I’m invited to complete my collection for a fee but as I took the same offer some years ago to fill some gaps in my subscriptions, AppStore/GI tell me I’ve already purchased it, but this is a new request! Apple Support have been unable to resolve issue and so here I am asking the developers... please. Cheers
This app makes a beautiful magazine look like a website or blog and it’s very disappointing. I tried a sample on the kindle app on my iPad and it looked great, like turning the pages of the mag, and I could still zoom in etc. So I downloaded the official Gardens Illustrated app and purchased a subscription through it, thinking it would be the same and it’s definitely not. Text is typeset separately to the images and you have to scroll down like a blog. I’m over looking at blogs, I wanted a magazine but without the storage issues, as I’d like to keep it for reference. Am I getting a setting or preference wrong or the app? I’d really like it to look like the sample I saw.
I subscribe to Gardens Illustrated because I wanted to avoid paper storage I can look at the magazine on my phone and iPad And it’s the same glossy mag With beautiful inspirational articles, news and pictures
This app is by far the worst app on my iPad. It frequently refuses to allow access to my downloaded magazine editions. This necessitates restoring purchases and losing bookmarks. No joke when I purchased all the digital back issues.
Bought the complete 90 edition collection for something like £44 from a pop up message. Day after I noticed complete back edition for £35 ! Having been a subscriber since day 1 feel completely let down by a magazine I thought was above these sort of dealings!
I got all the past issues and I love being able to read them from my iPad and I like the paper edition too bit it’s nice to take the iPad with me when I travel and read every time I can.
I’d give it zero if I could as no Special weekend download poss, despite updating App today and IPad Air 2 on latest Version 12.1 software. Could swear I purchased all editions from Nov 17 onwards last week, but no longer visible on App. Need to check credit card......
I had about 4 years of Gardens Illustrated on my iPad. Now none. “Support” group have not gotten back to me.
