Gather Events

Worked good for Metro-con 2023! It made the event much more enjoyable and organized. Also I loved the “add to schedule” feature. That was the best part. Thanks for making this app! It was great! 5 stars!

I wanted to use this for Reapercon as it is supposed to be tied to Growtix, which is the event’s ticket provider. Unfortunately, I think Reaper has been ripped off. The app hasn’t been updated for two years and while I can see events that happened in 2016, earlier this year in 2022 and conventions coming up in 2023-2025; the convention this weekend doesn’t show. That’s unfortunate as I’m sure Reaper pays Growtix for use of their platform and Reaper is not getting full use of said platform.

I am attending Walker Stalker in Chicago next week and the event said to download this to show what’s happening. Like the other review you can’t even find things in the state!!

I tried this app for the first time based on an upcoming event in my area, suggested by the event organizers so you can see panel times/subjects. Needless to say,(based on the title of this review) it wouldn’t even let me change the date/location. There’s not even an option to do so!!! Come on people this is app making 101!!! And if you turn your location service on for this app, guess what? It still doesn’t matter. You have the country’s events to mull through for 2019. Has potential but y’all have a lot of work ahead of you.

I’m going to the Atlanta walker stalker con and the even is not listed. Very disappointed!

Half of the events at the convention I attended never showed up on the app, a step backward from the previous year when the events were on the app but did not integrate with the rest of the convention events.

It kept crashing and removing my data.

This has potential to be great if more people use it for their events! Suggestions for the app: -Option to filter or search by region/state -A social experience where people can leave reviews/comments or questions for the event coordinators (might be an option for event planners, but didn't see anyone using it if it is) Personally, being able to filter or search is critical for me to use this. This will have 5 stars from me once it is easier to find events in my area.
