Find out your current location on a GB Map, whilst in Great Britain.
This app will give you your GB Grid Ref (Ordnance Survey / OS Grid Reference), along with a Compass Bearing and Latitude and Longitude values in both OSGB36 and WGS84 formats.
The accuracy of the Device GPS signal will also be shown.
Includes a handy graphical guide to the "National Grid" system.
Whilst the app will work worldwide, the values given will only be of use within the United Kingdom.
Ideal for use on walks. Always carry a map and physical compass in addition to your iPhone.
For the best accuracy, use in an open space, away from trees or hill edges.
Like a traditional compass, use with the phone in a flat position, not upright.
When continued usage is required, you can set the iPhone Screen to stay on indefinitely, from the Settings tab.

This app requires Location Services to be enabled in your iPhone, and you must grant permission to the app to use these.
Compatible with iPhone. Not compatible with iPod Touch, or (non-cellular) iPads, due to the lack of GPS and Compass hardware.

Brilliant little app!
Superb for passing on your position to anyone if you get lost or you are in trouble whilst out in the country.
Super Os conversation app
I was looking for a converter and this one is super.
Very Useful Tool
If your car breaks down in a no man’s, this the application you need to find out what your current position is!
Os compass
Does not work properly. Inconsistent and inaccurate most of the time , presently N is pointing East!
Grid compass
Almost instant help from the developer if you have any query, can’t fault app or service.
Excellent
Does just what you need. OS grid refs to 10 digits and estimates of accuracy.
Does the job well
An app that does one job and does it well, with a uncluttered screen layout. I use it when taking photos when doing landscape surveying as I need to record both the coordinates and the direction the camera was facing. The only improvement I can think of would be the ability to copy the grid ref data on the home screen to allow it to be pasted into a spreadsheet app

Very good
When I had to change handset & system provider the App I just had to track down for my new phone was GB Grid Ref - reliable, simple and one of only a handful that give compass, lay/long & 12 fig grid ref besides advising accuracy. The only app for me!
