A promising game with an infuriating predatory purchasing concept
The game itself has great qualities, with a pretty steampunk aesthetic and illustrations. The investigation is a bit tricky at times, but the story and mystery are engaging and interesting. It reminded me a bit of professor Layton.
HOWEVER this game is ruining all the spirit and talent that came behind it with its infuriating purchasing system/ difficulty for finding clues . Some clues are so hard to find that you would find yourself stuck unless you purchase hints!
It wouldn’t take long before you would spend an unreasonable amount and be scammed by this game ( or spend half of the game watching adds, if you’re so patient and ready to ruin the immersion.)
This game had everything for me to like it, if I could buy a version without all the hassle I would do it in a heartbeat. The art and story probably deserved better that this greedy system, a true loss.

I loved this game, definitely spent money to see more, but it’s been forever I finished it, but I know there’s more if the story coming “soon” but it’s been over 2 years right? Is on the verge of being released soon? I really wanna finish it.
Freezing After Watching Ad
I love the game so far, the only issue is it freezes after watching ads to receive bulbs for hints.

I like the game but there are many issues with functionality. The interface between the ads and the hints don’t work half the time. You can waste a hint if you are on a subscreen which is ridiculous.

Apparently you need to buy mini hints
It’s not enough to just figure out what you have to do and how to do it. You also have to pay for documents and mini games and pieces of equipment that pretty much ruins it for me. Otherwise some of it was interesting.

I love love love this game the storyline is amazing and I love how the puzzles are at just the right difficulty. I love games like this and I’ve been looking for games like rusty lake and this is definitely coming up right behind it on my list. I hope the next chapter comes soon because this story has me hooked!

..to read the reviews. I like to support game developers, but not when it’s clearly a waste of money. I’m so disappointed in this game. I bought the extended version for 9 bucks and the hints are only good for sending you out of the room, no specifics on what to do next or where to be. I’ve been chasing my tail for an hour now, ready to look up a walkthrough online. I also agree about the room labels as cutscenes, not needed and feel like time-fillers to make the game last longer. And I’ve wasted so many hints on that fishing game, don’t know what that’s about. Cute story, tho, and I like the artwork.
Update: the sphindro sapling is directly behind the hint bulb, so I lost 8 hints trying to click on the plant. 🤬
