Genius: Song Lyrics Finder

Self explanatory

It shouldn’t be that difficult for a lyric app to just load some text and the annotations. Even on an iPhone 14 Pro, the app starts stuttering after a few scrolls and drains battery very quickly.

I’ve been redownloading the damn app for like 5-10 times and I still cannot “Create My Lyric Card”. Trying to add my own photo, I select the lyric/bar, keep pressing Next right corner, just stuck in the damn page!

Literally just trying to browse and create an annotation screenshot thing and it wont let me select the lyrics to be made into an annotation. Super frustrating

Practically every time I use this app something goes wrong. Always a random mixed bag of the following issues: doesn’t load lyrics, doesn’t load annotations, doesn’t load comments, doesn’t load search results, doesn’t load the song when opening from Safari, refreshes randomly when using it, etc.

Some reason my app is glitching like crazy after 10 minutes. It makes the touch-screen stutter around aggressively. It takes 2 seconds extra to register my movement and quite a problematic issue. All my other apps work fine. This is a isolated problem sadly. Hope a patch comes through

Having the app open for 5 minutes uses more than 10% of the battery just for reading lyrics. Runs really slowly as well.

Great app! However, on latest iOS update genius just doesn’t work and shows a black screen

Great content. The ads have caused me to stop using this app though. They are in your face and no way to get rid of it. I would gladly pay to be rid of them but its just maddening when your listening to some pink Floyd and you get ads all over the place… please provide an ad free paid option.

The app glitches, and the website, is it my device, or everyone’s?
