Works OK on iOS 11 and have been using for years but all the three syndication activations are broken. The twitter and Facebook items require iOS logins which were removed in iOS 11; and the tumblr item gives a 500 when trying to link.
Have friends O/S lost touch because app is not compatible with iOS11. Please up date ASAP!
I have loved this app for several years but with a new phone and iOS 10 it constantly crashes in the field. I purchased the pro version hoping it would fix the problem but nothing has changed. A very expensive app that crashes every time it is used when off line meaning I have to wait to get into wifi range to upload and can't write notes on the run- one of my fav features of the app. Please please update the app. I recently discovered GPS Log - a very similar app by the same team so contacted their support & received a response givingme the code to download a free copy of GPS Log. I have now done so and have been trialing it around home and so far it loks every bit as good as Geospike once was and it works!
Bought the paid version, does not load on iOS 8.4. Do not buy.
I love it for this extended journey I'm on as it tracks my whole journey on a map. Great app.
Have had fun keeping in touch with relatives. Also enjoyed looking at other people's amazing photos.
Love the Opt up guys! Totally a Geospiker for life. The more of my friends I get into it the more the rest rave about it. So easy to keep people updated with my life, and the best part is I get to choose which spikes to post to Facebook and which to share with close friends and family. Thanks for the postcard option, my mum loves getting real mail from me when I am on the other side of the world. What's next? How do you make the most used app on my iPhone more useful?
Great for keeping track
I'm not one for writing blogs so when I saw a review on this app, I knew it'd be perfect. The GPS tracker plots where you take photos even if you've got your data turned off. They get suspended until you're in a wifi hotspot to upload them and is integrated with other social media apps. I highly recommend this if you're going traveling!
