Love this app! Using it for Arabic too.

Great App for learning and refreshing the German basics. Just been to the Oktoberfest and it was a great help interpreting menus and getting the basic messages across - before the natives got bored and broke into English

I thought this was excellent so paid for both the German and French versions. It doesn’t seem that long after paying that it no longer lets me have any new words saying “You’ve exhausted them all” so why do they send me notifications of new words EVERY DAY THEN SAY I CANNOT HAVE ANY??! Be careful about paying for the upgraded versions as it’s just not worth it!!!

I used the free version of this app for about a month learning about 4 words per day and having exhausted the basic 101 word pack took the plunge and bought the full version. It is a great way to learn and with a little and often, say even 5 minutes at a time at a few points in the day, progress will continue to be made. I particularly like the accent inspector that records you and plays it back slowly with the native version so you can hear what you said rather than what you thought you said. As one other reviewer notes, there are no plurals with the words, nor any of the rules of grammar. You get infinitive forms of verbs (to walk, to eat etc) but no indication of how to change the verb to say I walk, You walked,They ate and so on). This app makes a great addition to a set of tools for learning German but it isn't the full picture if you are serious about learning the language. That said, with verbs, adjectives etc it would probably need to cost twice as much!

Really impress with this magnificent language tool. I love the simplicity. You can add easy 10 words by day to your vocabulary. I think that is easier when you have the.chance to hear and repeat the word, brilliant app

This wonderful app allows you to learn German in an order and at a tempo to suit yourself. Key phrases become swiftly memorised and accessible. The interface is fun to explore encourages the user to progress. The choice of phrases and vocabulary is well thought-out by the developers and most useful when visiting German-speaking locations. Great application to build up a German vocabulary!!! The only thing missing is the plural of each word, it's essential to know it when you study German. Apart from this, it's really a great application. You may adjust the number of words you want to study per day and you also be able to listen each word so to know how it is pronounced.
