“don’t know what to play next?” That sentence hooked me. But there ist no “randomizer” to pick my next game from a specific list. That’s a feature of a game tracker I search for a long time. So I still would need a dice and a list for that. Otherwise the app is looking very nice.
App with a lot of potential, but a few flaws.
This is a pretty good app to start with, it keeps crashing once in a while and is pretty slow, but I see potential. I can’t really view my backlog, because games I want to buy and games I got, but never played are in the same (light blue) category. It also needs a lot of touches to add a game, just get rid of the ‚save‘ button and save automatically on exit. Some games have no story and are just for multiplayer, online or couch. It would be nice to have a way to signal that I own it and/or played it. I can imagine a lot more features like playtime (howlongtobeat for example) genres/tags or even trophies. The design is really cool by the way, keep it going!
Lot of potential
There is a lot of cool ideas and nice UI-Elements, but also a lot of room for inprovement.
- Rating of Games / Average Rating is missing
- I cannot customize the elements of my lists
- Lot of clicks needed to add a game
- Some personalisation and gamification Elements would Be nice.
Keep it up for the 5 stars!
Very good already...
...but would it be possible to add a game rating/review functionality like in the lettberoxd app for movies?
Lots of potential
Much like when I started to use Letterboxd early on, I think this app has a lot of potential. It was clearly inspired by Letterboxd and I’d like to see some future features that take from that experience to here.
Something I’d like to consider be implemented is selecting which platforms for the games you played. I would also like for there to be some kind of implementation of a stats like feature like Letterboxd does that recaps your year of playing games with different stats such as categories, playing time, etc.
I think there are some QOL things that can help boost the app as well. Sometimes things don’t load right and lists can be a bit cumbersome to put together.
All in all, lots of potential and I’m considered subscribing to receive any new features sooner. Wish the developers the best (from someone who has longed for this kind of app since Raptr shut down.)
fine app but wish it’s come further along since it was first released
sure would love if my reviews weren’t completely erased if I need to close the app for 5 seconds
like using this to log video games similar to how I I would in letterboxd, but just has a lot of glaring flaws with its UI and general flow. I hope it gets more support.
Definitely a bit messy atm but bright future!
The UI could be streamlined, specifically on game pages. This app has a very promising roadmap and I’m really hoping this become the Letterboxd of video games
Broken app unusable without paying
You can’t add games to your wishlist without SUBSCRIBING. Tried to add a game to a list and it straight up does not work. Lazily made cash grab app.
Hoping this app turns into the one and only
This app is cool at face value and it’s pretty convenient. I think it has potential to be the Comic Geek of gaming. But they should add support for library collection which would include allowing gamers to choose if they own to game and if they own it for multiple different systems and how much the games were purchased for and if you beat them for each system or shelved one.
I think they should look at Comic Geek and Serializd and Letterboxd and take inspiration. They have a cool road map which I didn’t finish looking over but there’s so much that could make this app one of the best to exist. Better than IGN playlist even. Also add half stars or point scales. Pleeeeease
very good, could be better
itd be really cool if we could comment on other people’s reviews. and, in my experience, ive noticed you cant use the app on mobile data. you have to be connected to wifi. fix those two things and its a 10/10 from me. i love seeing what everyone is playing and organizing my games by years and all that jazz. its very satisfying
