This app is more better when I tried it

After visiting websites, closing all tabs and clearing all browsing data, traced of many websites remain. Check Settings > Data Management > Website Data and you will sometimes find that certain sites remain, even after clearing them from here and not revisiting they can sometimes reappear and are clearly using some sort of tracking technology to evade Ghosterey’s protection. If you value your privacy you have been warned.
No longer works on iOS after new look crashes within a few seconds
I tried using this because of disliking tracking, but it always takes two or three tries of pressing "clear history, including cookies, browser history and top and pinned sites" for everything to actually disappear. Frequently, you press to delete top and pinned sites and they don't delete until you do it twice, selecting the buttons multiple times. And it doesn't have the option to remember that when you want to delete history you want to purge everything. Doesn't inspire confidence. I wish there was a one-button "just nuke everything" option.
Great to know shadowy figure aren’t stalking me.
When the 3.0.2 release updated under iOS 14.0 the browser no longer recognises the attached Logitech keyboard and ‘find in page’ no longer functions. This was flakey before but no longer resolves on restarting. A day on and the app doesn’t recognise the internal keyboard either. I suspect that the app needs a fresh install but Apple doesn’t allow this!
This browser does everything I need of it but has one deal breaking bug. I need to remain signed into YouTube when I close it however it doesn’t remember and this is because it is impossible to disable clearing of cookies in the settings. I tried disabling everything in the settings and it just goes back next time it’s opened. None of the settings actually change. Sad but fixable I’m sure. When fixed I’ll give it 5 stars.
After more than two years with this browser, it has given up the ghost! I downloaded the previous update of about a week ago, and on first boot-up, it crashed. I tried again and it seemed to get a grip of itself, allowing my normal use. But today, with no other apps open, Ghostery has crashed after about 2 seconds, every single time I've tried to boot it - and having been unable to discover the trouble, frustration has led to its deletion. This was a really good, four or five star browser. However, being unable to open it, and with no access to the data it held, I have no choice but to award the lowest score. Thanks for the memories…
A good app but I’ve given 2* because of the amount of space it seems to need. After completely clearing down the app it still wants 246.8MB for Documents & Data (D&D) despite not having any bookmarks and clearing all caches including downloaded files. The only way to release is to delete and reinstall 👎🏾 Update: downgraded to 1* reinstalled the app and D&D was 33Kb. Opened app for first time without browsing to a page and D&D went to 28.2Mb! Closed the app and reopened the app, again with no browsing D&D went to 37.4Mb!! Repeated that close and open and D&D went to 40Mb!!! Seriously leaky app.
The new update is full of news items which I don’t want and can’t find a way to turn it off which is annoying. Great browser though but I wish it would block EU cookie warnings that are ruining the internet experience. 29/01/20 Not very user friendly. Just had to search online how to delete history. Other private browsers are far more intuitive.
