-Deadwood cards are those not in any meld. Aces are considered low they can form a set with other ace but only the low end of runs (spades of A,2,3 is a legal run but spades of Q, K, A is not).
-A player can form any combination of melds within their hand, whether it contains all sets, all runs, or a mix of both.
-A hand can contain three or fewer melds to knock or form legal gin.
-The deadwood count is the sum of the point values of the deadwood cards aces are scored at 1 point, face cards at 10, and others according to their numerical values. Intersecting melds are not allowed; if a player has a three-card set and a three-card run sharing a common card, only one of the melds counts and the other two cards count as deadwood.

I love this app. I am happy to finally find a great gin rummy game offline. They offer Oklahoma rummy which you can knock. This is the best rummy game and it took me forever to find. No hassle with commercials bothering every hand. Love it.

Does not handle laying off. Thinks Ace of diamonds is Ace of hearts. Others. When will these be fixed? Are there any improvements in speed or difficulty if you remove the ads?

i’m not one to review apps, but this one is great. 1) nice user-friendly interface, 2) the ads are not obtrusive. shorter time for you to exit or close them, 3) you can play this game offline, so great if you’re traveling, 4) ai doesn’t always win or always getting the card they need. feels random.
