After a bumpy start..

After quite a while of many broken parts of the app, I felt the current star rating is unjustified. There has been a lot of updates over the last year I’ve used this app and I can say that the app has changed considerably over that time. They seem to listen to feedback even though the communication is a bit one way. But things that are requested are getting done. I’ve recently asked for a 1minute pre-charge option to be added to the EVC portion of the app in a similar way that the Zappi does to get the car into charge mode within the timer period for use with deferred charging. I’ll wait and see how long it takes to get implemented. 🤞

Local monitoring still not working

For weeks now app is not finding the inverter in home monitoring mode on iPhone. This release is still not doing that.

Great if all you want is to watch

Its damn near impossible to navigate beyond basic function and the Cloud is no better. Latest is let us ‘Auto Manage’ your battery storage, can’t even update the damned electricity prices but no matter because when you do it still fails after Yesterday, the weekly figures and monthly figures are always wrong. It’s ridiculous because the system was working fine then some damn tech’s decided to ‘improve’ it.

Disappointing

The app has been “improved” so that it is now impossible to log in. Fortunately you can use your browser to access the infomation.

Local monitoring does not work

Tomkins5 on

On moving to ios18 app no longer provides local monitoring of inverter. Seriously undermines value of this app.

Update wont toggle to home

Yet again, updated and a complete disaster. It doesn’t recognise when on home network. Tried everything and GivEnergy don’t reply to feedback……any of it! Poor customer service!

Awful App

The app doesn’t detect my batteries and there is no help what so ever

No longer has Home connection!

AnonAnon123# on

Is this a forgotten app? This is yet another review stating that the app fails to request access to the local network, so has to rely upon delayed Home info. It worked perfectly on my old 2018 iPad, but has no Home connection on my new 2925 iPad.

Avoid

SamWalks1 on

Awful app, live function doesn’t work. You can’t get an answer out of GivEnergy to get a solution, despite asking numerous times. If you’re looking at anything from GivEnergy, avoid them like the plague.
