I couldn’t even make an account
This app is awesome!! Ever since college went online, it’s been so tough to feel connected and get to know peeps. I finally feel like I’m part of a community again. Updates move so fast!! Looking forward to the cool things to come!! 👏🏻
I only downloaded this because my school was doing a speed dating and your app is down
I love the idea for this app. I am cohosting a speed dating event and this seemed like the best platform for it. There is no other app that does what Glimpse was made to do. The hosts and I went on Glimpse to test it out before the event. As soon as we accept a match it crashes and shuts down immediately. We found that Glimpse works perfectly on a laptop but it does not work at all as an app. It wasn’t even functional as an app. If everything worked perfectly, this would have been a five star review!!! I hope the glitches are able to be fixed because I would love to use this platform for future events but now it’s back to the drawing board for the upcoming event.
I dont get the point of it but whatever.
Love using to catch up with people on quick chats
The short timeframes keep everyone focused and it feels energizing. Much better than a group zoom call.
Steve Jobs would have loved Glimpse. Because of its straightforward design, it only takes about three taps to get anywhere on the app. For those that find Snapchat a bit too complicated or commercial for their needs, Glimpse really provides a sense of intimacy. The spontaneity of the video calls is really my favorite feature. It keeps things fresh and gives me that same feeling you get when you find a long-lost friend on Facebook. Plus, anyone can talk for two minutes, so there’s really no excuse not to keep in touch with people. It would be awesome to have daily “happy hours”, especially now as many are feeling isolated at home, for the public room. Also, maybe a five second “presentation buffer” after a call is accepted would be great for those of us prone to bad hair days/the “front-facing camera effect”.
This app is a really cool idea, and it’s been fun when I’ve used it, but I think there are still a few bugs to work out. Currently, it won’t let me into the app because it’s saying I don’t have internet but I do. I’ve even restarted my phone and switched it to LTE 🤷♀️
