Glimpse : Couples AI Avatars

Only works once. A lot of bugs. Not worth it.

I so seldom write reviews, but with this, I made an exception. I approached this app genuine excitement, swayed by their advertisements boasting improved picture quality and heralding this version as their best yet. The promise of creating seamless couple avatars with my photos was an enticing one, and based on their claims, it seemed I was in for a treat. Unfortunately, the reality was a stark contrast to what was advertised, From the get go, the app failed to deliver on its primary promise. More than half of my high quality submitted photos which met the photo guidelines for ultimate success, resulted in avatars with glaring flaws—heads were either chopped off, or I’d find bizarre anomalies like double heads or extra arms. While I understand that AI technology, especially in something as nuanced as photo editing and avatar creation, isn’t perfect, the frequency and severity of these errors were beyond excuse. It’s baffling and unacceptable; technology has indeed advanced enough that such issues should be the exception, not the norm. The quality of the avatars was equally underwhelming. Far from the crisp, clean images touted in the app’s marketing, the results I received were of such poor quality, juvenile in appearance, that they were almost all 100% unusable. It’s clear that the so-called improvements and enhancements advertised were either exaggerated or entirely absent in the product delivered to consumers. In light of these issues, it’s hard to justify the purchase or recommend this app to others. In fact, buyer beware!! The gap between what is advertised and what the app is capable of is too wide to overlook. I’m left with no choice but to request a refund which I doubt I’ll receive, and warn potential buyers to steer clear. This app was a letdown, and its performance a far cry from what was promised.

The avatars look nothing like the photos u put in :/ and the quality isn’t even good

This app will charge you for their photos and will make you wait hours for the photos to “generate”. I received the 4.99 package with odd images of a random Asian couple- I wish I was Asian but I’m not. So far I can’t even ask for a refund.

Tried to email customer service, but the help link provides an email that doesn’t work. Some were great, many were not…willing to pay for another round of photos generated, but can’t delete or reset account.

Doesn’t even look anything like my partner or I. Some are different races. When I emailed support it said the email didn’t exist. Huge scam

None, and I mean absolutely none of these pictures looked like me and my wife. On top of that, you can’t remove the watermark from the photos even though you paid for them. If I had enough energy I’d sue this developer lol

The woman is completely changed and doesn’t look like herself at all. No point to this app if it can’t accurately capture the likeness of each person

I payed 6.99 and the pictures look absolutely nothing like my partner at all. I uploaded 10 pics of me and 10 pics of him. I came out ok I guess but not even a slight resemblance to my boyfriend at all!! Can’t get my money back or anything

It’s been over 12 hours and my images are still processing. I’ll update my review if the images are ever finished. It took an entire 24 hour period to get my photos. A lot of them were just cut off- half faces, just torsos, etc. very disappointed with this app.
