Gloucestershire Walks

150+ walks in and around Glos

Published by: TINYROCKET

Description

Gloucestershire is at the heart of the Cotswolds and is blessed with some of the prettiest villages, best pubs and most picturesque walks in the country.

Our simple to use GPS-enabled digital guide covers over 150 amazing walks of between 1 and 12 miles throughout Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

Easily filter the walks by all walks, woodland walks, waterside walks, hill walking and walks with a pub on the route. You can also list the walks by distance from you at that time.

Detailed route maps then track your progress as you walk around and they all work offline, meaning no internet signal is required when doing the walks.

Contour information on the maps show you the gradients of the walk to help you judge difficulty.

Send in feedback after each walk through the simple questionnaire so that we can improve the walk information in the app over time.

Gloucestershire Walks Reviews

Made me a master walking guide

BiggestSigh on

United Kingdom

This app helped me guide my large and belligerent family on a number of lovely Christmas walks throughout Gloucestershire. It provides good routes for both long and short walks, as well as great pub recommendations so I didn’t lose my mind.

No public transport info

stigyule on

United Kingdom

I was put off because this seems to be aimed at car drivers. No public transport information is provided as far as I can see.

Good App but issues

Moch1245 on

Great app to identify nearby walks. No way of being able to unsubscribe etc. Have had to request a refund

In app purchase not clear - not value for money. No free view without having to subscribe.

£15 per year for just 150 walks (or £2 per month) - not clear that a subscription is required. If this was all regions then it would be worth it - but restricting to Gloucestershire is not. The Ordinance Survey app (though more expensive) offers much better value for money and superior maps. Unlimted use and 000’s of user and official shared walks.

Brilliant!

So many wonderful walks around the county to try. Really simple to use as well. Love it!
