Glow Art: Play your story

this app is great and pretty underated, i just wish it was easier to get to the creators socials, like maybe if their tiktok/insta was linked below the creator name. and i wish it could say when a new episode is coming out, or if they are on break. it would be more convienient that way.

Honestly I love interactive stories but I would really like if we could edit our own characters instead of being what we are gave

one major thing is the coins, where all of the coin choices are like 3x the amount youd get from the 99 cents or anything, and how the ones you get daily expire after seven days, especially because many stories dont update in that time frame, and then you lose all the coins you get, which is very irritating. another small thing is i wish i was able to fast forward, like when im replaying a story to redo an option but i have to get through everything else which is a little annoying. other than that it is wonderful and its very fun to read the stories!!

I’ve enjoyed the story I’ve read so far I’ve noticed some quality of life issues. Coins are 10 coins are 99 cents and that won’t get you get you any choices. (At least not in what I’ve read) It’s also unclear if your paid choices are saved if you restart a story. Another issues I have is the update schedule of stories. Not every story is finished and have no update schedule posted. I had to find the creators social media only to find out the updates are sporadic which killed my motivation to read anything else.

This app is incredibly comforting and always puts me at ease. The stories are engaging, well-crafted, and offer a perfect escape. I’ve been using it for a while now and haven't experienced any issues—everything runs smoothly. It’s quickly become a favorite part of my routine without any issues.

Hi, I bought two coin packs of 55 coins and the first purchase went through but the second was never added to my account. I have proof of purchase through the apple store. I would either like a refund or the coins to be restored to my account. Please let me know what can be done to fix this, thanks!

I absolutely love roleplay games like these. I can interact with/as my favorite characters, and get to pick what choices/decisions I want to make. I love those types of games! However, the coin system is a bit problematic for me. I don’t have any money, and when the only good choice costs 3x the amount of coins I have— it’s hard to get the outcome I want. I’m trying to save up coins but I’m only getting one per day. It doesn’t even work sometimes, I’m pretty sure glitches. I was supposed to get another coin one day, but the game never added it to my coins. Now I have to wait longer. I just wish for there to be a free option like watching adds, playing mini games, or trivia on past roleplays we’ve done — to get coins in the future. Or increase the amount of coins per day, whatever works.

I love the app, the stories are well made and i could use this app all day. But i’ve realized only certain people can create stories and I was looking forward to making my own but i cant.

I know that this is a new app and the devs are still working out the kinks, but currently there are several things that are frustrating. The art is beautiful, and there are some awesome creators, but the app itself and its functions still feel too bare-bones. Also, a couple of days ago when I got the daily glow coin it started telling me that the coin would only be good for seven days, now making it impossible to save coins without paying and inherently putting part of the creators' work behind a paywall (did they consent to that?). So far I've been under the impression that eventually I'll be able to go back and replay my favorite stories and buy the fun choices that I can't afford right now once I've saved up a lot of coins, but all of a sudden that's impossible, and I don't see a good reason for it. It feels dishonest and manipulative, honestly. Update: before the announcement that coins would no longer last more than seven days, they DID last. I saved up over a dozen and was able to buy an option at one point without spending a cent. My understanding based on the creators' advertisements was that this was the entire point - even if you can't take the exact path you want yet, with time you can go back and take the fun route when you've saved up. The ability to save no longer being possible is a new 'feature,' not something that was baked in from the start, and in fact goes against what I as a user was led to believe. Again: this decision inherently puts most of the storylines behind a paywall. Did the artists and writers consent to this, or did they believe, as their fans did, that everything would be accessible? If not, then they were dishonest when advertising Glow, and if they were, then Glow was dishonest with them, which is even worse since they're providing labor here. Whatever the case, this is extremely disappointing and I will have a hard time recommending Glow to someone considering it.

I love this app! It’s a great way to reimagine comics in a new format. The only problem I have is that my daily check-in coins don’t go up. They’re daily check-in coins so they should go up each day I check in but normally they go down or not change at all. My coins stay around the 4-6 range when I’ve checked in to the app more times than that.
