Amazing app!
Super tool for super moms
I used this app back when my baby was born. Really good for tracking your baby's health and development. Then after a while I just stopped. My phone was stolen and when I bought a new one I had kinda moved on. My baby is more than 2 years old and I suddenly remembered this app. And it still is amazing. All of my baby pictures and milestones are still there. Best trip through memory lane ever.
Great for keeping record of your baby
This app saved my life through the first year of my son’s life. My PPD was so awful, I had no idea what day it was or how recently he’d been fed. Having this app at my side became a sense of security, the one thing I could rely on as I was falling apart. Then as I returned to work after four months, his babysitter was able to easily sign up for the app and log in as his provider. She loved how easily she could keep me updated on his day without sending texts or keeping a journal. Now that he’s over a year old, I still use the app to log his sleep (it’s so convenient to click on the Pattern Chart to see how many hours he’s slept that day!) Same story with diaper changes, instead of trying to do the arithmetic in my head of how long it’s been I just open the app to check his last diaper change. It’s super convenient for monitoring bowel movements for a now-toddler, who doesn’t always go as regularly as we’d hope so it’s helpful to track how long since he last had a stool. We nurse once or twice a day but I rarely bother logging nursing or solid food anymore, since he can tell me when he’s hungry- but the feeding aspect of the app was incredibly helpful for over a year. My *only* reason for not giving this app FIVE STARS is the ads. I paid for premium, right up front I paid for the lifetime membership. In the last month I’ve had ads constantly popping up all over the app. I can’t get rid of them unless I click on them, which takes me to websites outside of the app. Not only is this sleazy and gross, it’s a hard no for me. All of my baby’s information is in this app, my husband and my babysitter and I regularly use this app, there are other apps connected to this app with more of my personal info in them. If this app continues to force ads on paying users, especially ads that pop up windows in other websites, I’m going keep dropping my rating. I truly love this app and rate its function/ helpfulness at like 6+ stars. But y’all got greedy and it’s not a good look.
The app is not easy to use there so many stuff you don’t need! Also they doesn’t offer a free trial so you gonna be charged right away
At some point in the last two years, the app developer put profit over product and now requires a subscription for previously free features. They now barrage you with advertisements for their expensive premium subscription. Eventually, you’ll hit their new arbitrary log limit, preventing how many logs you can submit to the app in a single day, rendering the app worthless. Glow is also already profiting off your data, contributing your logs to their database of Glow users. Then as part of their premium subscription, users can see stats pulled from that database to compare against average nap times or feeding amounts. I’ve used this app for my first two kiddos and recommended it to all friends and family as they started their families. I paid for premium for two previous years because I wanted to support the developer and found the reporting features of premium valuable. I didn’t realize how much things had changed until a week into using it with our third kiddo and now I’m enough of a sucker that I paid the “discounted” $35 annual subscription to keep using basic logging functionality. At the end of the day, this app is fine. It’s overpriced for how little innovation is happening and they’re riding a wave of positive reviews from before their redesign. You won’t find me recommending this app until they walk back their premium changes and get a grip.
Very helpful app! The only thing is I wish I could add when we read books💓
Love this app. Started using it while our daughter was less than a week old in the NICU cause we were struggling tracking our daughters intake and my pumping. Now it’s got all her milestones and more. Wish they made a book so I could export all her 1sts.
