I wish I read the reviews instead of going by stars
I downloaded this app with the hopes it would sync to Apple Health and was pleased to see it did. I wanted the reporting capability that is only available with the upgrade, so I subscribed. Once I got to setting up the app, I gave it access to my health data - the only thing it imported was glucose, even though it asks for read/write access to weight, blood pressure, etc.
So I reached out to customer support via the chat - and they left me on read.
Trying to be a problem solver, I deleted the app and reinstalled. I’ve tried to “restore” my purchase a few times now and the app just force closes.
I’ve put in a dispute with Apple, but as of right now, I’m out $40 and this app is USELESS.
Free
It has to set up for free. How can it be free if they want to charge me 50.00 a month. That doesn’t sound FREE to me.
Does not link to your CGM, just to the monitor
It's been ages since I carried a glucose monitor. My phone and watch pick up data for me. Yhis won't pay for ck up data from your "patch", just from your monitor itself.
My money I canceled my subscription 10 min after I downloaded
You are still trying to get 70 dollars out of my bank account.
This is only good for tracking your glucose readings
This app is only useful for keeping track of your glucose readings; just don’t rely on it’s calculated averages: as they are nowhere even close to what they should be showing.
When the trend of your readings are going DOWN, the average should NOT be going up! Pay attention to the numbers, and you will notice that yourself.
Really Disappointing
Tried to reach out per the app and no response. The app started out pretty reasonable price wise. Now there just another high priced app with zero support! I’m going to end my subscription. Really really disappointed!
Deleted app because
It records quantity of pills but doesn’t record dosage, such as 2.5 mg if glipzide. Sorry but no thank you.
Glucose
Your first must give me a tutorial so I can try it out.
I never knew it was in the Apple phone at all?????
Glucose Results
I really like the convenience of inputting my test readings, and weight changes. Good App!!
Poorly designed algorithms…..
On the surface, this app appears to work as expected, however after awhile if you actually look at the data compilations and do some independent calculations, you will notice that the ‘averages’ don’t actually add up, and that the algorithms that are used to calculate your BG averages are actually not correct, and don’t provide the actual numbers that they should. An example would be: 1) when my BG went up 57 points, the average went up by 0.1 point 2) when my BG went DOWN 54 points, the average went UP by 0.3 points! I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and this anomaly has been repeated multiple times in virtually every month that I’ve been using and tracking it. This is unacceptable for an app built to monitor something ‘health’ critical, that people rely on for their wellbeing. The best thing that this app is good for is nothing but ‘ballpark’ guesstimates of your actual BG levels. It gets worse with every update, now getting to the point of being just about worthless. This app is basically only useful for someone who’s too lazy to do their own tracking or for those who blindly believe everything that an app tells them. Save your money, time, data, and look elsewhere for a better app.
