Awful service

Bought items here several times, usually it went smoothly without any problems. But then on my last 2 purchases, wow super disappointing. I made 2 purchases on January 31st, when I paid my first purchase a note went up saying that in lunar new year holiday period there may be some delay because it’s a national holiday in korea yada yada. Okay but they said that during the holiday that is from Feb 2-6. I made the purchases on January 31st. There shouldn’t be any delay right? Cause it’s not the holiday period yet. I was wrong. The first purchase quickly changed its status to preparing for shipment. The second purchase (not so quickly) changed it into not yet shipped. Their status keep on stagnant so I messaged their customer service the next day asking why and if there’s any problem at all regarding my orders. Because usually the stores processing orders pretty quickly (I have never bought items in these 2 stores before though so I asked). There’s no answer until Feb 2. In the morning of Feb 2, the cs emailed me saying that since it’s a national holiday it may be delayed yada yada. And then s/he said they’re in a holiday so whatever questions or inquiries I’d make would be replied during business hours after the holiday. Well, isn’t it convenient for them to reply my email in the morning when the holiday period began, so now of course I cannot make any inquiries at all since it is their national holiday and i can’t do anything about it can’t I. And I actually made purchases not on the holiday period time so I don’t understand why they’re delaying it. And why taking so long on the Gmarket side to respond to an international customer. It just seemed to me that they just don’t care. I paid my purchases on January 31st, but based on the email from the cs, the purchases would probably start processing on Feb 7th. Super super delayed. Super super disappointed.
