Best in Class

RH25C on

Imagine my surprise when I found the 29C in the AppStore. I’ve been looking for this exact model for the last 10 years. Of course, I bought it straightaway. I’d like to think I’m the first to purchase, but I doubt it - one of the first’ll do. Thanks so much for building this. Never saw myself as ocd. Guess I must be - bought my HP29C back in ‘75 - still working fine. One thing I’ll say now about the HP29C over the HP25, the ‘29 fills in all the blanks on the ‘25 keyboard. and, for programmers, the DEL Key is so much more practical than NOP. In my opinion, the HP29C was by far the best in class of its time. 20 addressable registers, Continuous memory and Subroutines put it in a different dimension from others. It’s amazing what you can do with just 98 program steps with that little lot. I hope you’re all going to enjoy this as much as I know I’m going to.
