Go Go Muffin x EVA Collab

Many mobile games try to overload you with microtransactions and paywalls and sluggish grinds that take weeks on end to get through before you actually start playing “the real game.” Go Go Muffin is quite appropriately about the adventure. I love that this game is free to play for anyone who doesn’t care about having premium cosmetics. Ironically, it is why I would be more willing to spend money on this game than others. Please give this game a try if you’re looking for a casual, fun/cute, fantasy game. It will show you how much better other games could be.

This game does so much right, the story isn’t really anything big, but the gameplay is so addicting. Most of it is idle, and it will run in the background which is awesome. Though when you’re fighting bosses, especially as a tank, the game suddenly gets really engaging and you have to pay attention. The gacha is very fair for getting skills, and the classes are all fun in their own way. The costumes are adorable, and the social aspects of the game are really well done. However, the game can be a little time consuming as most mmos are, even for it being an idler. During the tougher challenges you have to lock in, and you can get left behind if you aren’t keeping track of collecting your idle rewards.

Issued bugs with in game currency missing making me miss out on a big event in game and nobody would even message me back when I tried to contact support. They just FINALLY added a report button and fixed the server issues. This game was like the wild wild west. The chat was gross. This game could be really good if they actually cared. They care more about their older game and actually Ulala is tbh better in my opinion. Basically want to quit and stop spending money after all my stellarite is magically missing and nobody will fix this bug and I miss out on PP because your game is bad. They just want more money and to not fix things.

The game is fun, but it keeps crashing on my iPad.

I tested and can say with confidence the pulls in this game are rigged. Skill pulls I always got the same legendary skill on my 2nd 10-pull after trying on multiple characters. Then you get another legendary skill at around pull 50, at which point the game will ask you to rate the app. From other people’s reports the costume gacha is also rigged, so there is no reason to believe the pet one isn’t either

Chat in this game is unusable due to the ridiculous number of bots, and nobody really queues for group content, so it’s basically impossible to do any of the low level stuff. You can try to create your own group with AI mercenaries, but they are terrible, underpowered, and you’ll just end up failing. I’m not even sure why they bothered adding that feature if it’s impossible to pass anything that way. Fix the chat, make at least some of the group content soloable (even if just the rifts) and this would be a great game.

During Class Change 2 as I leveled up I became weaker. This happened at level 84. I assume this is a stat calculation change. No wonder there aren't more than 400 people that have made it to Class Change Number 3. There aren't enough people playing and servers die within a month. The purchases system is horrible. There is no middle ground. Either you spend a ton or just be free to play. Paper Planes point system needs to be adjusted. For free to pay you need to horde for three weeks and then do updates during the more substantial weeks. You also need to purchase supplies for melomon moves and mount tickets during the hoarding weeks. During the substantial week also purchase treasure hunt energy. This leads to a feeling of burst growth and then weeks of weakness. Allow points to accrue from making cat buns. Give more strings to players for melomons. Starting out their are 10 skill cards ever 10 levels of the story. By cc2 there are 10 skill cards given out every 30 levels in the story. Again the means for player retention is horrible.

This new update / server merge was the worst thing they could have done. The whole point of this game is to learn mechanics of boss fights and earn rewards like cosmetics and other things. Now since they merged servers the chat is spammed by people begging for carries. This will do nothing good for the game because the people who are begging will never learn anything, get bored, and quit the game before someone who spends, learns mechanics, and places first on their server. Awful awful update. Would not recommend to anyone who wants to spend money on here.
