Goblin Sword Is a Perfect 6/5, An Absolute Masterpiece!
I don’t normally write reviews, but Goblin Sword deserves all the praise and then some! This game is the definition of perfection on iOS, flawless retro visuals, tight controls, and a level of replayability that’s off the charts. It brings back the magic of classic platformers with a modern twist that will leave you hooked for hours.
The gameplay balance is incredible, challenging but fair, rewarding exploration and skillful combat. The sheer amount of secrets, treasures, and upgrades makes every level feel fresh and exciting. It’s a love letter to old-school gaming while feeling like a perfect fit for mobile.
If I could rate this 6/5, I absolutely would because it’s just that good. For anyone who enjoys platformers, RPG elements, or simply excellent game design, Goblin Sword is a must have. Do yourself a favor and play this masterpiece, you won’t regret it!
Fantastic Game!
You simply MUST release this on PS5 Console and all your other games as well!
Fantastic
Almost like the old mega man games . Hours of fun . Cannot believe there haven’t been any updates in years or a sequel !
Amazing game!
One of the best games I have played on ios. Touch controls are simple, easy to use, and customizable. Lots of different stages to play, things to collect, and challenges to complete. The game feels very polished and the gameplay is well balanced.
Can y’all add more of a super Mario vibe to it?
It’s a great game but can y’all add a little blood?or have a survival mode we’re you just kill monsters a boss rush maybe
Still the best
This game gets snubbed in apple’s retro-inspired games lists, and it’s a shame because this is hands down the best modern-retro platform er on iOS. You know that you have hundreds of games you’ve started and only played for a few minutes, but this isn’t one of those. This is a complete game, and it’s incredibly rewarding with the perfect amount of challenges and secrets to explore. I can’t recommend it enough!
Actually good.
I am close to finishing it with almost every secret, and have to say it’s really good.
Those bad reviews complaining about it being too hard or bad controls or horrible collision boxes … those are simply poor gamers.
For 2 dollars it’s a bargain.
Meh
Boring arduously repetitive levels, bug issues with enemies & platform hitboxes, and none of the armor you collect through the course of the game have any purpose or special attributes. However the game is beautiful and it’s free.
Sloppy.
…
Fun!
One of my all time favorite iOS games. Just a really well done game. I’ve replayed this many times. Wish the dev would make a follow up.
