Premessa la mia Gocycle G4 spesso smette di funzionare, non assiste durante la pedalata. Di solito per risolvere il difetto uso la funzione Reset BLE presente sulla App. Purtroppo dopo l’ultimo Reset la App ha iniziato a “lampeggiare”. Visualizza alternativamente la pagina iniziale di configurazione e quella in cui si leggono i dati. È impossibile fare alcuna operazione. Anche eliminandola e reinstallandola il problema persiste. Ho dovuto ripristinare l’ iPhone, ma ora nonostante molti tentativi, non c’è verso di connettere la bici.

Ho risolto i problemi con l’app grazie all’assistenza via mail: ho riscontrato professionalità, competenza e ... pazienza.

Fatemi capire: una società che vende dei prodotti premium ad un prezzo decisamente alto proponendo delle biciclette ingegneristicamente all’avanguardia non riesce a sviluppare un’applicazione ugualmente all’avanguardia? Non chiedo tanto, ma almeno un’interfaccia user-friendly che aiuti l’utente e un’interfaccia grafica che non la faccia sembrare un’app del 2012.

Dopo ultimo aggiornamento non si spegne automaticamente dopo inattività.

After downloading today update, opening the app, the screen is requesting the acceptance of terms of use. Unfortunately after the acceptance is coming back the request of terms of use and I’m not able to see the instrument panel.... Please correct the bug!!!!!

Applicazione semplice e intuitiva. I tasti di reset andrebbero spostati in quanto rendono difficile la lettura dei contatori. Sarebbe bello avere un indicatore di velocità. Grossa pecca si perde spesso la connessione bluetooth, perdendo così i dati dei km percorsi del GIRO. App buona, ma non all'altezza del prodotto finale

Is zero stars possible? The bike itself is great but the app is the worst app I ever used. It doesn’t even work most of the time. I have been trying to update the firmware on my Gocycle GX for two months, but the app always freezes so the update is still unsuccessful. I can’t log into my account via app. The app states email not found. The same email Gocycle sends regular advertisements to. I log out and login several times when the app freezes. It eventually bypasses the update. The app does work 10% of the time but it is complete downgrade from original version. The original version had a dashboard that worked as a speedometer when using the bike. The new version doesn’t have this feature. Closing notes. I love my Gocycle but the app is horrible and needs to be fixed. This is a premium bike with a premium price so I would expect the app to work.

Still waiting for them to update this more since the change due to Apple. But to get the dashboard up, click rides and then landscape your phone. Still buggy of landscaping not working as it should. Like if you have docked your phone to the bike bar and then open the app, connected, ride, it would still be horizontal. Still patiently waiting but I am starting to get a little annoyed that there hasn’t been any improvements of the app yet.

Gocycle does say they are not done with this new version of the app and that is an understatement. While the dashboard of the previous version was not perfect at least it was there. This version has no dashboard. There are so many errors in this version they cannot be counted. Linking the app to your account and the bike the first time will require at least 3 reboots of the app. It freezes up. What is in the app provides so little value when it comes to actually riding the bike. The app will allow you to change the riding mode but the battery status indication does not update while you ride. The app does not keep your phone from turning off like previous versions. That not a big deal as the app now gives you no meaningful information while you ride. You will need a fitness watch or some other means to track your speed and distance in real time. Nothing like buying a product with a set of features and then getting a forced “upgrade” with a third of the features you had before. Maybe this is acceptable in the UK? May 5, 2024 Version 9.2 is out and yes it has a dashboard. The app still does not work anywhere near as well as the one this new 9.X version replaced. I would not buy a new Gocycle until the app is fixed. It is buggy, incomplete and seems to be rich in features you really don’t need to ride the bike (like how to unpack the box).

Sorry but I can’t trust your app. You deleted all my ride data from the previous version. When the app was updated no notice that all my ride information would be purged. Please add some export option because I don’t trust you to keep my data.
