Incredible. Amazing. Unique. (Just be prepared to wait)
This game is amazing. The graphics are nice, and so is the gameplay (if you’re willing to spends a few pounds to get a Fountain or Tree of Joy), even the music really seems to work. I’ve been playing it for over two years now and it’s incredible. It’s fairly easy to get new cards (technologies), as long as you play it fairly often. Still, there are a few downsides. The first is the fact that when you’ve built some abodes - but you’re not very far into the game - you start losing lots of followers whenever the Astari have a festival. This is REALLY annoying, and does not stop unless you get a Tree of Joy (which may require a, albeit minor, in-app purchase😱) or wreck Astariville with Meteors. The second is that when you colonise Weyworld (in the later stage of the game) the terrain is split into different “types”: Normal, Verdant, Rugged, and Hallowed. Farms can only be made on the rare Verdant land, which means you have very few crops, which means buildings stops, which makes new cards unavailable, which then slows the progress of the game. Please make this Verdant land more common, it really slows down the game having it uncommon. Nonetheless, this game is great to dip in and out of, and with every new update there is something else to be happy about e.g. “Sheep” or “Heavens View”. I will definitely recommend.
