Fake Advertising
Video advertisements and first three pictures are not what the game is at all, no where can these versions be played whatsoever. In Canada, under the competition act, it is illegal to promote your product in this manner. The game in fact is goblins that break the rocks with tools, takes hours to complete a single level, no way to make it go faster, and once the level is completed the next level resets anything you’ve acquired (goblin upgrades, coins, etc.) nothing as an incentive to continue, makes absolutely no sense in my opinion, not sure who would waste their time playing this, if these things were fixed the game would actually be fun.
Honest review
Long term playing the game it’s just try’s to get you to pay not play. The first like 3 levels are easy then the timing to wait for the goblins to mine takes so long that ur literally waiting to make a next move and it doesn’t add up when waiting it’ll say 10 minutes to actually like 13 minutes but you’ll be waiting for longer. It gets longer and makes less sense the longer u go UNLESS you start buying gems that buys different gems in the game to start buying latching s faster, capitalism in a game.

Trash game and a complete cash grab
I tried to see what it takes to finish an event in free to play vs paid. Free to play you barely unlock any keys and after payer 30$ on the current event you basically stop progressing as soon as you stop buying their special packs lol so basically you’d have to spend hundreds of dollar to make the top 3 of your event to win a prize that worth about 5 $. This game is ridiculous
great game just have some ideas
awesome idle game no ads unless u choose to watch one for a reward, but please add a feature that lets you zoom in so i can see what im focusing on better 🙏🧌🧌🧌🧌🧌⛏️⛏️💚💚💚💎💎

Another game that has lost its way.
Unfortunately the “pay to win” of this game has absolutely ruined the events. Unless you are willing and able to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars per event you won’t stand a chance of placing let alone finishing the event. I’ve had this game for a long time and have just seen it get worse and worse. It is no longer in my lineup because of the $$ grabs and pay to win. The ad didn’t confuse me. Not sure why you’d say that? Not sure what you’re saying maybe some day I’ll see gameplay like that? The gameplay in the ad has nothing to do with my review.

This game was great! Now? Wait … wait …
I loved this game for my 1st year plus! Since I’ve gotten to above level 50 though, Gold & Goblins has slowed down to long waiting times between playability. 😕
I just came back to it after 8 1/2 hours:
- less than 5 minutes worth of gameplay and every portion of the main game is now waiting for the Goblins to complete their tasks.
- less than 3 minutes, in the side X-mas game.
8 minutes of playtime after 8 1/2 hours??
Right now as well - seeing other complaining about 12 months worth of other complaining about the false ADs??
It has been almost 2 years of fun playing Gold & Goblins, peeps! This has been one of the longest played games in my 10 years of i-Pad owning. Without any drastic changes coming soon, I wont be playing or recommending this game, any more.

Progress issue gets ignored
I have been playing this game for quite a while. I’ve even invested into it because I liked its pace. Recently however the game has provides issues and especially affected are the events but main game gets affected too… I have contacted the support numerous times and their solution always is to just dump 500 gems on you and say it will be fixed with the next update. Every. Isn’t overnight the game makes no progress and when I submitted a question on timing of fixing the issue they asked me if I reloaded the game and closed the ticket?!? Seriously? No answer complete ignorance of the problem and zero attempt to deal with your issue. Needless to say deleting the game and not downloading anything from this company… stay away and don’t invest. Waste of your time and money.
