Too many ads
I enjoyed this app until the last few months when the ads became overwhelming. Sometimes I can’t even start the app on the course because the ads get in the way of opening the app.
Hope it gets easier
Better than average, I’m still learning how it works but so far I’m unable to see my distances after each shot. Perhaps if there was a tutorial it would help.
Annoying Ads
Pretty good app until last couple weeks. Way too many ads making it difficult to use.
Golfshot
Yardage is better than my range finder and is exact with other apps.
Waiting
Up to a year ago, I would have given this app a solid 5. Unfortunately one of my favorite courses in Florida was re done 3 years ago. In Dec 2023 I sent in the new score card and was told as soon as the satellites flew over the area it would be re mapped. As of Dec . 2024 it still has not been updated. Looks like I will need to find a new golf app.
First Impressions
I used Sync to update changes and this is a great feature. The support is great. I like using the Apple Watch. GPS is very accurate. Easy to learn how to navigate the menu. Adding stokes on the holes is easy and I like the scorecard report set after the round.
Did not honor promotion Be careful signing up
I like the app overall and was mostly using for practice features to work on tempo and pay attention to what my wrists do. I am sure it is great on course too my problem is when I got a message about a promotion for 49.99 for a year. I signed up through Apple and they would not honor it after several attempts. I asked politely if I could at least get a second year as the 99.99 was already gone (pretty expensive subscription, Considering I can only golf five months a year) they would not do anything for me and acted like I was making up promotions (I wasn’t) and generally making excuses with no resolution before I gave up.
No nonsense. No distractions.
It has everything you want and none of the extras that distract you from playing the game.
great app good distance.
Might be worth paying the extra for the distance to Hazzards and auto feed to your USGA handicap.
