Good On You FAQ
Is Good On You free?
Yes, Good On You is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Good On You legit?
🤔 The Good On You app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Just think about how you interpret your criteria
The idea is good, but the criteria seem very hypocritical to me.
1) Mango is praised for not using leather/fur of animal origin. Wouldn't it be only because their low cost products make this use impossible?
2) Adidas is rated "good", seriously? With all the scandals of underpaid employees on the other side of the world? Seems like greenwash if has good days ahead.
3) On the other hand, brands with more noble materials, and especially with Italian or French labor, are penalized for not providing proof of minimum wages or working conditions. Except that the legislation does it for them in these countries.... you can’t pay someone 2$/month in Italy...
In short, good ideas but used in a rather hypocritical way.
It’s a start
But the recommendation doesn’t seems like to the include gender. I got only women brand, quite disappointing (yes I did set up my preferences) but still got the ability to check brand, which is pretty cool.
Keeps crashing
I like the idea but I can’t do a search without the app crashing
Good start but
Good idea, app very laggy, the sorting doesn’t work. When you click on apply, nothing happens
Great in theory
I absolutely love the concept of the app and find myself visiting it whenever I’m in the market for something new. However, many brands aren’t featured and it doesn’t appear to be regularly updated. Recommended alternatives are rarely in the same category, price, or style - it feels very random and unhelpful. I also find the search/filter feature doesn’t work well. I love the app conceptually, but it could use some work to actually be effective in driving people to more ethical brands.
Great resource
Really happy I found it. Looking forward to additional companies being reviewed!!!
Wondering about the sponsored company’s, but trusting “Good on You” does this to promote the good companies and there’s no kick back.
Thank you Good on You 💗
