All Aussies should have this
Such a useful guide when at store or fish market.. there is a clear lack of sustainability labelling or even sourcing in Australia. Very helpful!

Good app to have in the phone when shopping for fish. But half the fish listings in the local fish’n’chip shops or markets don’t match the fish names here. Probably an issue for government to enforce standardised naming but would be great if the app could help to clear up confusion. What is “butterfish” or “couta”? Wish I knew!
Currently the sustainable restaurant mapping function does not work properly as development only Google credentials are being used.
The app is great it can help guide our future but there is still lots more to do the one thing when I look up shark fin soup nothing comes up it has limited names for shark flake is the only one add more types of code names but overall 10/10
It’s impossible to police our oceans and the fishing industry is driving them to extinction including massively contributing to ocean plastic. If like me, you care about eating sustainability, the only way to do this with seafood is to massively reduce or abstain. Watch Seaspiracy
Love the app! Would be great if in addition to listing sustainable seafood restaurants, it also listed sustainable shops to buy seafood from for home. Please consider adding this list!! Loving the app, so good to have the info needed to eat seafood ethically, thank you!
Great app. It seems like some kinds of fish that I used to look at in the sustainable fishing guide are more a more sustainable situation now than they were a few years ago, so great job to the developers of this app, and also to those involved in the industry who are responding to sustainability challenges. Keep up the good work and let’s try to push more of the species into the amber and green categories.
Restaurant section does not open. The rest of the information is great though. Very helpful
We all need to be able to make decisions aligned to our values and as the environment and how our food is produced becomes more important to more us, this app is great resource for people that want to eat sea food sustainably. Thank you to the Australian marine conservation society. Please let’s see other agriculture and livestock farming groups do similar things!
The new refresh is much easier to use! And I love the new restaurant search function. Keep up the good work AMCS!
